I'm still here too, but I don't get to see the show very often now due to work. I depend on you guys to keep me up to date.
Yesterday's show was sad with Ryan saying all of his goodbyes. I'm really sorry that Cameron is leaving. It looks like he might be leaving alone though from that clip from today. I'm not going to get to see today's show though, so you guys will have to let me know what happens.

I just don't see this as a Mia vs Hayley issue. I'm not that crazy about Mia right now either but I absolutely hate Hayley's attitude when she's around Mia. She's getting on my last nerve! She needs to be taking care of her kid and keeping her nose out of her dad's business. I think he's pretty much able to take care of himself. The only person he needs protection from is himself.

Thoughts for the day:

Loved, loved, LOVED Kendall finally getting what she deserves. Woohoo! I was laughing my @$$ off while she was hysterically crying in the thunderstorm as Ryan sped off on his motorcycle. (Yes, another thunderstorm. ) This probably wasn’t the emotion they were going for but I couldn’t help myself. hehe. I did feel bad for Ryan though. The look on his face when he caught Kendall stripping for Aidan broke my heart. But I was so happy Kendall got caught that I quickly got over it.

I like NuTim. He’s cute and funny – kind of like a Trevor Jr. And how funny was it that they worked it into the script to lift his shirt on his first day?! LOL! He had drawn a circle over his liver area and wrote “cut here” as a joke. It worked. I cracked up!

I wasn’t too impressed with NuMateo but I’ll give him a few episodes to work out the jitters. He seemed very nervous but I can’t say I blame him. Stepping into the shoes of a long-established character can’t be easy.

NuMateo fields a phone call at the hospital from Maria. The nurse just said it was a call about Enzo. That’s all she said. NuMateo picks up the phone and blurts out his name and that they already have a donor before he says hello or finds out what the person on the other end of the phone wants. Stupid! Maria looks stunned and says something about being glad and hangs up. NuMateo thinks the voice sounded familiar. DUH!

I enjoyed the Trey/Adam scenes. Trey really looks like a wimp next to Vintage Evil Adam, doesn’t he?! LOL! But I thought Sam Page held his own with David Canary. And we’re finally finding out more about Trey. Like he’s impersonating a dead guy for one thing! The real Trey Kenyon died in a boating accident years ago and Adam knows it. So Trey is his little puppet now.

Vintage Evil Adam to Trey: “Give it up, kid. You’ve been outplayed and outclassed.” I’ll say! LOL!

Mia gave Liza the bankbooks at Liza’s request. Liza noticed the missing money and questioned what happened to it. Mia says she took it. Liza gives Mia an out by assuming that Mia needed it for her son and then apologizes to her for not being there for Mia when she needed her. Good grief! Adam has turned Liza and Mia into drooling idiots.

NuTim called Trevor from the hospital. (Another one of those long-distance calls courtesy of Pine Valley Hospital!) NuTim said something about keeping everyone “in the dark” about Janet. At first I wondered if Trevor and Janet split up but then NuTim said something to Trevor about “taking care of her” so maybe she’s ill or gone off the deep end again. I’m guessing they’re just throwing this in to explain why Trevor and Janet didn’t accompany Tim to be there for his surgery. Apparently it’s just for the viewers’ benefit as no one in Pine Valley seems to question why they aren’t there!

I probably won't get to watch live tomorrow so not sure when I'll get the chance to check back in. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

I have not been on the boards much but had to jump on real quick to say that I finally watched the show today and boy am I <font size=7><b>thrilled</font></b> that Ryan left w/out nasty Kendall! Something made me watch the show today and I am so glad that I did! Can you tell I am happy that they did not get hitched?

I will miss Ryan so much though, I wanted to cry with Ryan and Chris today.


Not sure if I like the new Tim & Mateo yet - I will give them some time. Sorry I have not been around much ladies, just the show was boring/frustrating me so I was not watching. I will catch up on this thread tonight!! {{hugs}} Hope you are all having a good day!

Hi, Christine! If you catch up on the thread you'll see that I've been clapping and cheering the last couple of days. It's been so good to see Kendall get what she deserves. The only catch is that now we're stuck with her since Ryan left her in the dust. But I'm glad Ryan was able to break free from the witch! LOL!

Lisa - I asked on PVB if anyone had heard anything about trouble in paradise with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. Someone posted this:

I heard a radio station was reading the Star tabloid magazine, and it was said that they were having troubles of some kind, and for the reasons that you stated. But I don't believe any of it because of the source of that story, and I believe they are on the cover of next months Redbook together, talking about their solid relationship. I don't think there is anything to worry about.

I didn't tell her I wasn't really worried about it. LOL! Just wondered if anyone else had heard anything.

Yesterdays and todays shows were fantastic! Believe it or not, I have NO COMPLAINTS! I didn't fastforward during one single scene. That is so rare for me. Anyhow....

I loved the scene with Ryan and Chris. Very touching and very well done.

It was GREAT seeing Adam as his old scheming self. How refreshing. This is going to be really good.. . Adam and Trey. Woo Hoo! And I, too, loved that camera angle on Trey when he got slapped.

Guys, I don't know about you, but as soon as they showed Aiden in the penthouse and we heard the thunder, all I thought was, 'oh, no, Ryan will get in an accident (Friday's cliff hanger maybe?)... But my daughter tells me she thinks this was his last day. Hard to believe... I mean Todd on OLTL was supposed to leave the show in May and he is still kicking. Even though Kendall deserved everything she got today (and boy was that GOOD), it was so sad when Ryan sped off. I felt the sting of the break up.

Not sure about Tim and NuMateo. But for the record, I don't believe the rumors about trouble in paradise for Kelly and Mark.
Just got a feeling about it, that's all.

Still so glad Maria is back.

Hi, Tina! I loved the Chris/Ryan scenes too. Yes, it was Ryan's last day. That's why he had all the goodbye scenes this week with Hayley, Liza, Gillian and Chris. I think he needed a goodbye scene with Leo too!

Totally loved how Ryan exited. (Except for the thunderstorm part. Geez, a little overused with these two, don't ya think?!) I guess his brain finally grew back. Just in the nick-o-time. LOL!

Sorry that I haven't been around in awhile - yucky work stuff - blah, blah, blah...... I have to catch up on the thread, too!

Glad to hear that it sounds like the Kelly and Mark rumor wasn't true!

The Temporary Mateo did a pretty good job, yesterday, I thought. Given the fact that we are so used to seeing Mark Consuelos in the role, I thought that this guy blended in very well and that Kelly played well off of him. I have a feeling that the new Tim will grow on us the way that the new JR kind of has. If they also bring back Amanda, I wonder if she'll be able to get Jamie to talk! Speaking of which, how come Tad and Brooke keep running off on their secret missions together when their son hasn't uttered a word in months? I wonder if he's still lurking around corners, somewhere, hoping for them to get back together! The new Tim seems friendly, if nothing else! But what was that that he said on the phone about Janet to Trevor? I hope that they're not going to imply that there is trouble in paradise for Janet and Trevor - I want them to stay together!

Is Mia EVER going to tell Liza about how Trey is continually blackmailing her??? What an idiot. I also loved the Adam and Trey scene yesterday. How much do you want to bet that when Trey's "true identity" is revealed (what ever that may be - Leo and David's brother? Vanessa's son?) and he becomes a PV outcast.....that he and Kendall get together and start causing trouble as a team???

I wish that they would just hurry up and bring Maria back to PV, already - they are really dragging that storyline out!

I watched Friday's epsiode on SoapNet!

I loved the scenes with Ryan, my dh loved how Kendall was screaming in real time but moving in slo-mo!

Trey--I'm confused. If he's pretending to be someone else, how does Mia know him? Wouldn't she know the now-dead Trey??? Am I missing something here?

Is Jamie still not talking? That story-line really bores me.

The new Tim--he grew! Just like Jr, disappear and come back a foot taller! He is very cute though!

The new Mateo--not bad, didn't like his shirt though and I love how he says his name with that spanish accent!

Mia-BLEAH! Too bad Ryan didn't run over her on her way out of town!


BTW-Anyone else have SoapNet and see the commercial for the Ding-Bing, you just use a wing-nut to get Dings out of your car? My dh and I were laughing thru the whole commercial.

Just to touch on the Todd (Roger Howarth) issue from OLTL. I read the other day that he is not actually leaving (HUH? ) It was reported that he filmed a TON of footage while in Hawaii, enough to last all summer. It also said that he was not actually leaving the show, only that he would be taking a break for a while and that the scenes that were filmed in Hawaii should last for quite a while. Time will tell.

Back to AMC....

I like this new Tim. I'm just wondering how old they are trying to make him. When he left the show several years ago, he had just finished high school right? So he should be in his 20's I would imagine. It looked like they were working on hooking him up with Maggie. I would LOVE to see Amanda return--but they certainly would need to bring back Trevor and Janet if they did that wouldn't they? Amanda wouldn't be old enough to return without parents would she?

Oh the time aging thing...soaps never get it right! I guess they never will, and will always pretend as if we, the viewer, aren't supposed to know any better and just accept things the way they write them.

Gee, as glad as I am to see Ryan leave WITHOUT Kendall, I sure was hoping she would be gone. What a terrible actress. Those crying scenes were the PITS!!! They were SO fake.

Here's hoping that next week will be great too.

I guess I only half-watched the shows last week. I missed the new Mateo.

Just thought I'd share that Kelly Ripa has been talking about her contract negotiations with AMC on her show this week. She doesn't want to say too much so it's hard to tell what she's going to do....maybe she doesn't want to stay if Mark isn't going to be there? Sounds like she doesn't want to leave her friends but maybe she doesn't have the time for the show either. Any of you who are more tuned into PV happenings heard anything?

Hope that you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! So sorry that I haven't been around (again!), but we fell behind 2 episodes, and I didn't want to look at this thread until we caught up! We caught up last night!

I loved watching Ryan ride off into the sunset, leaving Kendall there screaming and crying - she so deserves it, after what she was about to do to / with Aidan! She deserves to be miserable! Something tells me that when all is said and done, though, her only "friend" in town will be Trey, and the 2 of them will get together. I know that I already posted that theory, but I have a feeling that that's what's going to happen!

Speaking of Trey, thanks so much for that link, Aprille! I had been looking for information about him on line, and couldn't find any! And thanks so much for the other article and link, too!

I enjoyed the children's chorus singing on the 4th of July! That was nice! I can't believe that someone as smart as Jackson would have hooked up with someone as obviously superficial as Mary Smythe. I hope that she isn't going to be his new love interest. I think that they are going to give him one, as he made a point of saying "I really need to move on.....", but I hope that it's not her! I would rather see him with Simone than Mary! I actually felt sorry for Simone, when her father blew her off and she had no one to spend the holiday with.......until she caved in and called Roger - then I totally lost respect for her, again! What an idiot! He already told her that he doesn't care about her and was using her......why did she invite him back, so that he could tell her that again? I loved Leo running around and putting out all the "fires" - telling Mary and Woody that they'd better keep Greenlee happy, then going to Simone's and lecturing her and Roger! I really hope that the wedding is at least somewhat happy - they haven't had a "happy" wedding in PV since Ryan and Gillian's, and it's been too long! Plus, I love watching the 2 of them together, and they deserve to be happy, finally!

By the way, since when is Jack running for Governor, all of a sudden? I hope that that doesn't mean that he will be on the show less - like I said, it seemed like they were going to expand his role and maybe even give him his own storyline (for a change!).

I haven't heard anything about Kelly Ripa or her contract, Pam. I hope that she stays on........but I hope that they stop making Hayley such a self-riteous, condescending, you-know-what!

Kendall is completely hopeless. I couldn't believe that she started screaming "Liar!" at Erica, when Erica was really going out on a limb to help her. Typical. I was glad when Bianca stood up to her!

Well, it looks like Leo and Greenlee's wedding is going to be a fiasco, after all. I'll bet that the way that Vanessa is going to be redeemed (or at least somewhat redeemed) in the eyes of PV will be when she throws herself in front of Wolf's bullet, intended for Leo, at the wedding. I was almost afraid that Leo had killed Roger! Maybe Roger won't survive this incident and that's how he'll leave the show. I hope not, though. I don't want to see Greenlee and Leo break up just when everything seemed to be going their way!

What is Tim's deal? Why doesn't he want to call Trevor? Are he and Janet having problems? Or is something wrong with Janet? I couldn't quite get what Tim said over the phone, the other day. I like this guy, though, and the replacement Mateo is fitting in nicely, I think.

Simone is just an idiot. All of a sudden she cares about Roger, after he insulted and humiliated her, not to mention is blackmailing her? Maybe SHE should be the one to be with Trey next, not Kendall, since she is such a masochist!

PamOKW - I've heard that Kelly wants to negotiate with AMC to work much less if she stays on. So I think she wants to stay just not be on as often. Hey, works for me. I'm beyond tired of Hayley's sanctimonious routine. Reminds me way too much of Ditsie's personality transplant.

Kendall makes me want to puke!!! Her blaming Erica for Ryan leaving was laughable. She's obviously never going to accept any responsibilities for her own actions. Blech!
