All My Children fans

Well, gee, I've been watching for almost 30 years too but I wasn't in diapers when I started. That would have been kind of embarassing to wear diapers in high school! ;) :p :D

Welcome, Dawn! Glad you found us! :)

Sue Ellen - about Leo leaving - all I have heard is that Josh Duhamel is considering leaving when his contract is up (in the fall, I think) but no decision has been made as far as I know. I'm still holding out hope that he'll stay!

I never watched this show in my life, and probably never will but felt like I needed to post on this thread

LOL LOL Jason...welcome!

WAIT!!! Leo is leaving too? Sheesh...Ryan, Mateo and Leo? What will be worth watching????

Again, as I replied to Sue Ellen in my post just above JasonLyons' witty contribution to this thread ;) :p, nothing definitive has been announced about Josh Duhamel leaving to my knowledge. His contract comes up for renewal this fall. He hasn't made up his mind yet. Yeah, I know it's the same line we heard about Cameron Mathison but until I see it confirmed somewhere I'M STILL HOLDING OUT HOPE!! Let's not all push the panic button at once.

ROFL, Jason!!
I am happy that Maria is coming back. I have always liked her! :)
Speaking of Maria......Eva is going to be on Regis & Kelly today! :D

Hey Everyone!

I'm sorry - I purposely did not read anyone's posts, in case you discussed today's AMC episode, but I just wanted to say GREETINGS FROM ROOM 3612 OF DISNEY'S POLYNESIAN RESORT AT WALT DISNEY WORLD!!! :) :) :)!!!!!!!!!

I RODE IASW, TODAY!!!!! :) :) :)!!!!!!!!

And our wedding was wonderful - we couldn't have hoped for anything more perfect! Everything went relatively smoothly and I was completely calm and not nervous at all - not even during the ceremony, weirdly enough! Everything and everyone were wonderful. And we're both really happy! It seemed like the most natural thing in the world. And we really enjoyed ourselves, too.

We arrived here at about 12:30 PM and were able to check right in. And we got our engagement room from last year, too! And Frank arranged to have a dozen red roses waiting for me in the room, with a really beautiful note. And just after we got to the room and started unpacking, a CM arrived with a single red rose and a certificate that said "This Magical Moment is courtesy of the Polynesian Resort - congratulations", for us! We had lunch at the Kona Cafe, then spent a few hours in the MK. All we really got to do there was ride IASW and then see the Country Bears - the place was PACKED! There was a 40 minute non-FastPass wait to get into the Haunted Mansion, which is our traditional second stop in the MK - I couldn't believe it! The Bears were packed, too - EVERYTHING was packed! But I was happy to see long lines at the classic attractions. After seeing what happened to CoP, I don't want to see that happen to any of my other childhood favorites! We had to leave the MK at a specific time, 'cause we had a PS at 'Ohana. Dinner was wonderful, as always - in fact, we saw the waiter who served us there exactly a year ago tonight, just before Frank proposed to me! We gave him a "WWWD" pin, since he took so much time to speak with us and make us feel at home, last year, and he was really surprised and overwhelmed! And the MC, who directs the children's coconut races and hula hoop contests told our story to everyone in the restaurant, over the microphone (I guess our waiter had told him that we were engaged here, one year ago today, and were married yesterday), and everyone applauded - pretty nifty!
Then we went out to the Barefoot Bar and had an amazing pina colada and watched the EWP, which looked wonderful as ever! It's so funny - I'm so used to seeing it on my videotape at home that I forget how vivid its colors are, when I see it in person- it really looked beautiful! Unfortunately, we missed Fantasy in the Sky - we assumed that it would start right after the EWP, but when we didn't see the fireworks by 9:30, we came back to the room. But then we heard them booming outside at 10:00! Oh well - we'll see them in the MK on Saturday night. We're going to the Studios, tomorrow!

OK - I'm rambling - I'm delirious - I haven't had any substantial sleep since Saturday night - sorry for going so off topic - I was just thinking of you all, being here in WDW, and wanted to say "hello"! Hope that all is well with all of you! Talk to you soon!:)

That is so great Lisa! I am happy for you and your hubby. :) Hope the rest of your stay is just as great!!!

I just checked out Lisa's wedding pics that she posted the link for on page 115. They are great!
Lisa, you were such a beautiful bride! You and Frank both look very happy. Congrats to you both!

WOW! Beautiful Pics.:D Your dress was Gorgeous!;) Congrats again!:D I get to watch the show today, only day I will be able to see it....hope its good!;)

 Hi, Lisa! Thanks for checking in! Sounds like you're having a magical honeymoon. May the magic continue! :)

Great wedding pics. I checked them out yesterday afternoon. Did you notice her wedding cake had Groom Mickey and Bride Minnie on it? Now, why does that not surprise me?! :D She already has pics from their first day at WDW up too in the honeymoon album. Lots of pics of It's a Small World, of course! :D

Thoughts on yesterday's show which I watched this morning on tape:

Loved the Leo/Greenlee/Mary scenes. Josh Duhamel shines in these scenes. A couple of my favorite exchanges...

After Mary apologizes for trying to run Leo off she starts pumping him for information about his father.
Greenlee: "You promised to back off the grilling."
Mary: "Grilling? I was just aiming at pleasantness."
Leo: "You missed."

After Mary leaves:
Greenlee: "Mary can't help it if her maternal instincts are a little..."
Leo: "What? Non-existant?"
Greenlee: "Latent."

How about Roger at the Pine Valley Inn after Simone breaks up with him and leaves him at the table. Roger continues drinking and tells the waiter, "Ms Torrez said to put that on her tab." What a louse!

Poor Leo and Greenlee. They're in competition for worst parents on the planet. LOL!

I can't believe they're making Arlene a match for Enzo. Puhleeze!! No way is her pickled liver going to be of any use.

And Maria returns. Woohoo! Wasn't that exciting seeing the back of her head yesterday at the end of the show?!

Kendall actually spoke the truth when she told Ryan, "Chronic patheticness is not a turn-on." Then she tells him the story of her breaking into Erica's house looking for pictures of herself and laying on Bianca's bed. Yep, pretty pathetic. UGH! I did enjoy Ryan telling her how "whacked" she is for continuing to try to seek Erica's love and approval. Let's hope she listens and rides off into the sunset with him. :p

Thanks for the update on yesterday's show! I got to watch about 15 minutes of it while I ate my lunch in the lounge at the mall!
today is probably the only day this week I'll get to see it.

and Mary. Are they actually divorced, or just seperated ??
Claudia, I think they are just separated but I'm not sure. I know it was brought up during the gagfest with Simone that he was still married. But since Mary's return I thought it was mentioned that they are divorced. (Maybe he was just telling Simone he was still married as another reason for them to hide their relationship.) So I'm really not sure. Anyone know?

It was Love in the Afternoon today! :D Romance was in the air. (Except for David and Anna. Is anyone else as tired of these two as I am?! :p)

OhMyGawd! How sexy is Chris?! {{{sigh!}}} Erica is one lucky gal. ;) Loved all these scenes today although I was afraid my television was going to melt. ;) :o :D

I like Jake and Mia but did Mia give her conscious the evening off? I thought she was all in knots about betraying her sister and Trey blackmailing her. Still enjoyed the Jake/Mia scenes despite this little fly in the ointment.

I am so sick of David and Anna’s constant bickering. Get over it and/or move on. Here was part of their exchange today…

David (after calling Anna an ice princess in their bed the night before): “I’m not going to live like that.”
Anna: “Fine. Let’s stop trying to make it work.”
Me, screaming at the TV: “YES, PLEASE STOP!!!”

Later, after much more bickering…
Anna: “The whole thing gets to be so exhausting.”
Me, screaming at the TV: “YES, PLEASE STOP!!!”

At least David has shaved off that butt-ugly goatee! That was the only redeeming value I found in the David/Anna scenes today. :p

And let’s not leave out Greenlee and Leo. Loved these two today. I felt so bad for Leo when he ran off and sat on the park bench reflecting on his childhood and the flashback with his mother where she told him she could have had him aborted. Very powerful scene. I just wanted to hug him. Then Greenlee found him. It was good to see some serious scenes with these two. But we had some comic relief early in the show…

Leo tells Greenlee that when he told his mom he was going to contact Count duPres she freaked out.
Greenlee: “Leo, that’s her best event.”
Leo: “This wasn’t the typical psycho starlet routine. Put it this way – she swore that I would find my father over her dead body.”
Greenlee (with a cute sneer on her face): “Now that’s my kind of threat.”

Today on Regis & Kelly she stated that Mark (Mateo) would begin filming a war/hero (maybe Rambo??? my words) type film in Austrilia very soon... Like others I think his acting is just OK but I wish him well in this career move.....

Christine, the URL for my AMC site is: http://dawnsworld.hypermart.net/amc.html Click on the "Interact" button & that takes you to the boards. I need to get back there myself in a little bit. I just started them, talked to myself a little bit & now, I'm working on building up traffic there. Hope to see ya there!

Haven't watched today's episode yet, so I skipped a few posts here just in case. I torture myself by waiting till the 11:00 showing on Soap Net. Too much going on during the day & baseball's often on at 8. This is horrible torment.

Does anyone know how soon Ryan is leaving? Wasn't it supposed to be THIS month?? :(
