I've been taping AMC since Rebecca Budig came back, but I haven't had the time to watch them all yet. I did watch the episode last night when Angie came back...I remember watching most of The City, so I wondered what happened to Jacob! I didn't remember the little girl though...thanks for that info! So, if Jesse's coming back, is he coming back for real or is he a ghost? (pardon me if that's already been asked...I haven't scrolled back to look!)

According to the commercials, Jessie is coming back from the dead. They showed the clips for tomorrow and he looks very much alive, not like the episodes where they showed him dressed in all white and having a cloudy shadow around him.

The writers think we don't remember these things, sadly they are wrong. I can't wait to see how they explain away giving away his vital organs, that should be funny :rotfl:

:lmao: I agree, but at least WE HAVE writers, which is all I can say for the nighttime programs.

I am loving reading that people remember the same things I do. I do have to say I have not watched AMC in forever, it just got to where I did not know anyone on there. But I loved the old characters.

Today on the View was Jessie, Angie and Greenlee. When they asked Darnell (jessie) how could he be coming back from the dead he just said "i'm coming back", he had no explanation at all for HOW they plan on doing it.

The thing with Jessie is that he has already come back...as a ghost! When he revealed himself to Tad. So if he's coming back "alive"...then how do they explain when he was "Ghost Jessie"...:confused3

all i can think of is maybe it's a dream like they did on Dallas way back. I have to say Angie and Jessie age very well! How come they didn't get any older and i did?

I quit watching at least 6 mo ago. But Jessie coming back will make me tune in again...I guess I'll have to start taping again so I can skip everything but him. I saw a preview that said "Jack and Erica cannot hide their feelings from each other". For the ?th time????

I wish they would just rerun the old shows. Would be WAY more interesting!

I have to tell you with Angie and Jessie coming back the other actors on the show are gonna have to really step up their game. These two actors are amazing and with some of these so called actors who have little or know talent it makes them look worse. I realize that sounds kinda mean but well it's kinda how I feel.

I think Petey is supposed to be closer to JR's age than Colby's. Remember the one young actor that played Petey when Kendell babysat for him? He was a riot. I wish they would bring that character back with the same type attitude.

When Colby and Liza moved away, Colby was about 4. A year or two later, she came back as a high school student.

You are right. That red-headed kid who played Petey was great. One of the best actors on the show. I wonder what happened to him. Kendall was his nanny for a while. I seem to remember him tap dancing, maybe in a dream sequence.

Last week I caught "The View". "Angie", "Jessie" and "Greenlee" were guests on the show. Whoopie asked "Jessie"....I saw you die, you were dead, how are you returning??? They all laughed and said anything is possible in soap world. Whoopie then added that when she starred in the movie SOAP, there was a similar story line....an actor returned to his role even after his head was cut off BUT....you never actually saw his head seperate from his body so anything is possible:rotfl: It was actually pretty funny...they were all laughing. It is kinda funny.

Another interesting thing I read is that due to the ongoing writers strike, AMC is doing very well. Apparently due to the strike, actors are scrambling for work. That is why so many new people are on the show, including Mario van Peebles. As of now, a working actor will not actually work until the fall of 2009. All primetime shows are in re-runs and nobody is working. The soaps are still producing their shows due to a huge script pile and scribes who are writing the shows. So while most actors are unemployed at the moment for a long time, daytime is still going strong and apparently with a bevy of actors to choose from who just want to work.

I read that several of the soap opera writers have resigned from the union and are writing scripts for future shows.

Are they gonna drag this Jessie thing out for weeks? Let us know, is he alive or not???? This draggin out stuff tends to make me resentful, not anxious to see how it plays out. Isn't that the opposite of what they want.

And, by the way, I'm not diggin' JR's new do. You think maybe he can find some Fusion products to jazz it up a bit? I'm just sayin'.

LOL - I was thinking the exact same thing about them dragging this out while he hides in the "shadows" at the hospital. I think he's alive & has been in witness protection or hiding, but get on with it now............

THis is beginning to remind me of when Dixie came back and skulked around for months!

Well, we already know that Jesse is NOT a ghost. When he was a spirit guide for Gillian, he was dressed all in white with a white hat. Not this time (unless he wore his welcome out in Heaven and has been sent downwards to complete eternity).

Ha - soaps have their own rules. They probably won't even explain it, just pretend it never happened. ;)
