I wouldn't know. SoapNet has Who Wants to be a Soapstar on again. ARRRGGGGHHH. I'll have to catch the end of the show in the morning at 6AM.

Know what bugs me? They will have a repeat episode on Monday when I am home and can watch at the regular time. But on Tuesday, when I have to go to work and watch on Soap Net, Soap Net will have that stupid who wants to be a soap star. So I won't get to see anything until Wednesday morning.

Hey, Deb - they make these marvelous devices nowadays that can actually record live TV and then you can sit back and watch whenever it's convenient for you! You can even fast-forward through the commercials and watch an hour episode in 40 minutes. It's AMAZING!!! Just thought I'd share.

Yes they do, Aprille, but then I'd have to make sure we left the TV set to channel 262 when we left in the morning or else we'd wind up recording Lilo and Stitch or Fox News at noon. We don't have Tivo only VCR.

Alexa Havins will leave All My Children this fall and join her real-life hubby Justin Bruening on the West Coast. Bruening exited AMC last month and Havins will exit in October. The actress joined the show in October 2003.


Tapped to take over the role of Babe is daytime newcomer Amanda Baker. Baker, however, already has ties to the ABC Daytime lineup; the actress is currently tackling the role of Jolene on Night Shift, the primetime spinoff of General Hospital. Baker has also appeared in guest roles on One Tree Hill and Campus Ladies.


Havins makes her final AMC appearance on October 8th, 2007. In an unusual move, Baker will assume the role of Babe on that very same day.


"[Alexa Havins'] Babe will hug Krystal and when they separate from the hug, it will be Amanda Baker [in] the role," clarifies the show rep.

well - it seems that Annie is a liar. According to Friday's episode, her big secret is that she testified against her brother and he got put away for 10 years. She says he was a patholigical liar and a cruel person and she wanted to get him help. She thinks (knows?) that he caused thier father's accident, when he lost his hearing. She lied on the stand and said he was in an armed robbery & she thought he'd get help at a mental ward & instead the judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison. Her mother committed suiicide the same day. So Annie feels responsible for her mother's death.

Is this what everyone else got from the episode? It's been driving me nuts to know what her big secret is - and this is it!

That had to be the worst written episode ever. Annie would tell Ryan, "it was my fault. I caused my father's deafness" - commercial break - blah, blah, blah. "I caused my mother's death..." - commercial break - blah, blah, blah. "I sent my brother away to prison for robbery..." - commercial break - blah, blah, blah "I lied about what he did - he didn't do it - and he got sent to prison." - commercial break. Whew. I was just sooooo tired of the Annie show on Thursday and Friday.

Is she ever going to stop lying?????

Well, at least Annie didn't startle her mom, who then fell out the window to her death, like I was expecting after the Ryan-falling-out-the-window dream. They just did that with Zach and his mom.

I agree. It has been a real snooze fest lately. I have been bored to tears. I don't care for Ava or Greenlee. The characters have become so submissive. There is no real action or drama. The direction this show is going in, is YAWN!!!!

I haven't been a regular viewer in a few months. I just catch an episode here and there but I am so BORED!!!! I really don't like Annie or Greenlee either. In fact I can't think of any storyline I'm actually interested in....I have to say I like JR's new hair but after not watching for awhile, his teeth bother me again. rofl

I have to agree with you -- I am just starting to watch after missing several months worth of episides and am finding that I haven't missed anything.

I am so sick of Annie the Psycho storyline. Hasn't she been to the Comeback lately? Wouldn't she have seen her brother, "Wes"?

I don't even care about Annie. With Cameron dancing with the stars for the next few weeks, AMC is going to have to wrap up that storyline quickly.

I don't even care that Who Wants to Be a Soapstar is on tonight.

I have a 1:45 pm flight home on Sunday, so I'll have to leave for airport by

I'm actually enjoying the Annie storyline. I hadn't read any spoilers though I didn't realize that Wes was Annie's brother. Wait until my DD hears that - we've been trying to figure out what's going on.

I thought Lilly was so funny yesterday when she asked Hannah & Josh if they were going have sex in the office again!!!! I just love her character.
