Mykel was the first winner of I Wanna Be A Soap Star. Del was the second winner. Mykel was on the last 2 episodes of Ugly Betty. He was really funny.

It's not just JR's HAIR - he also seems to have gained a lot of weight and has gotten really out of shape (as was quite evident during that scene, last week, where he was shirtless after sleeping with Amanda). I suspect that he may be doing a play or a film - that requires him to look like the freak that he looks like, now. I haven't been able to find anything online, but JR DID say in his office, yesterday "...........I'll be going away for awhile........." which obviously gives him the "out" to work on another project. Has anyone heard or read anything?

I have a feeling that we're going to find out that Zach's blackout somehow affected Annie, personally, too, and that's why she's getting so upset about the fact that Zach was responsible for it and why it sort of looks like she's "taking Greenlee's side". I'll bet that she had some of her own eggs stored there, in anticipation of having another child in the future, or something.......

Hi there, Christine! No, unfortunately this won't be the year for me for SSW........since we're cruising the Mediterranean on the Magic next month! That's our "BIG VACATION" of the year! Maybe in 2008......... 'Til then, I'll have to live vicariously through all of you!

I have only watched bits and pieces the last couple of weeks. Just nothing too interesting...to me. Even OLTL has been boring me lately. I dont care for the new Greens yet but I think if I watched it more she would grow on me.

Oh, I also dont like JR's hair. He got married last month on Mothers Day (well he was supposed to). He was telling us at SSW last year that they were getting hitched on Mother's Day. Cant believe she would let him have long hair, LOL.

TVGuide.com: Love the baby's name. Chasen sounds like a soap-opera hunk.
Penny: Oh, that's so funny. It's the name of my friend's brother, who is just a lovely young man. But it's just a name that stuck in my head. I went online and found out it's an old English name that means "huntsman." So that's cool.

TVGuide.com: How has your first week as a new mom been? Does Chasen keep you up all night?
Penny: He's a really, really good boy. Of course, there's a lot of adjustment as we figure out what he wants and what he needs. But he doesn't cry a lot, only if there's really something bothering him. I suppose I'm tired but I'm just having a good time. It's been a really lovely time and we're enjoying it.

TVGuide.com: Your AMC character Julia really wants a baby, but the show hasn't written your pregnancy into her storyline.
Penny: I really like what they did. Julia's relationship with Jamie (Justin Bruening) has been great, but there's always been something missing. Her life has become more stable now that she has friends and a good job. It's everything she was missing during her 10 years [on the run from gangsters], yet there's still something missing. So she's overjoyed at the thought that she might be pregnant. When Jamie discovers the pregnancy test, he mistakenly thinks that it's Di's test and that Aidan's gonna flip out at this terrible news. That's where Jamie gives away his hand — a baby is not something he would look forward to.

Penny: That was the question Julia had about her life. "Is Jamie the one I could start a family with?" Quite obviously, he isn't.

Penny: I think she's visiting the whole Santos family. They're all supposed to be living in California now! She's going to introduce her adopted daughter, Kathy, to everyone. Julia wants to make her life all about Kathy. [Laughs] So you can see where we're heading in the fall....

TVGuide.com: Right. The show has been hinting that Kathy is really Tad and Dixie's long-lost daughter, Kate.
Penny: Exactly. I'm looking forward to more of that storyline this fall. If Kathy ends up being Jamie's sister, and Jamie and Julia stay together, Jamie could become stepfather to his own sister. That would be really odd! [Laughs]

TVGuide.com: Talk about complicated. Plus, there's always been on-screen chemistry between you and Michael E. Knight, who plays Jamie's dad, Tad.
Penny: Yes. This puts me right between the father and son, which is fun.

TVGuide.com: When will you be back on AMC?
Penny: I think I'm coming back to work sometime in July. It depends on how they want to work me back into the canvas. I'm guessing I'll start airing again in the beginning of August. I'm just enjoying this time with the baby. It's the best. I can't believe it's happening!

I am sorry if this is irritating but.... I need some back story info.

I remember when Ryan would not have any children w/ Greenlee because he was afraid his temper problem would be passed on to another child. Shortly after Greenlee left the show. What I do not understand is how did the whole Kendall got pregnant and who is the biological mother and father go.
I never say any of the "power outage" story lines.

Love your theories about Greenlee delivering Kendall's baby.........and then running off with it, S&K'sMom and JKanownik! I'll bet that that WILL happen (a la Erica and Maria, years ago!)!

Thanks for posting the news about Sydney Penny's baby Pbnjrockette - that's great news!

M&M's Mom - Not "irritating" at all! OK - so Kendall had wanted to have Greenlee and Ryan's embryo(s) implanted so that she could carry their baby. Greenlee wanted to be present when Kendall did so, so that she could feel that she was "part of the birth" from the start. But then the "mysterious" (ie: completely planned and executed by Zach to prevent Kendall from going through with the implantation) blackout occurred and Dr. Madden called Kendall and told her that she had to have the embryos implanted RIGHT AWAY because they would defrost and become "unviable". So Kendall ran down to the fertility clinic to have the embryos implanted on her own (it was like the middle of the night, or something, so she didn't want to bother Greenlee). But when she got there, it was determined that it was too late and none of the embryos were viable. BUT there was still some of Ryan's sperm sample left over.......so Kendall had THAT implanted instead (NOT because she wanted Ryan's baby, herself - but because she honestly didn't want Greenlee to be disappointed by not having a baby AT ALL). I guess because she'd been taking all sorts of fertility drugs to prepare for the embryo implantation, she was somehow "fertile" and it was "well-timed" (or so it goes in the Soap World! ) and she DID become pregnant with Ryan's child.......via her OWN egg. She just casually never told Greenlee that the embryos had been "ruined" - she was going to give Greenlee the baby and "pretend" that it was biologically Greenlee's and Ryan's (of course, if that HAD happened, you know that the baby would have suffered some health crisis soon after birth, and would need a blood transfusion, or something........and it would ultimately have been revealed that Kendall was the biological mother.........of course......!). But then Greenlee found out that Kendall had conceived the baby using her own egg and just ASSUMED that Kendall did so for selfish reasons (that she wanted Ryan's baby for herself) - she wouldn't listen to / believe Kendall when she repeatedly tried to tell her that the baby was still HERS (Greenlee's) and that she only used her own egg because she didn't want Greenlee to be disappointed, and she DID want to give her Ryan's baby........but Greenlee wouldn't listen and took off and left town..........That's the story! In the mean time, in the beginning, neither Ryan OR Kendall were prepared to be parents........Ryan changed his mind first and became enthusiastic about the idea of becoming a father........then, slowly, Kendall started to love Spike herself and really started looking forward to becoming a mother. Then JR caused the accident that caused her to go into a coma.........and she had Spike........and the rest is history!
