Looks like now the writers are going with Johnny boy suffering from multiple personality disorder??? May not be Braden after all!

-Ryan talks tough, acting as the (better) father figure and concerned brother for Jonathan.
- Ryan demands that Jonathan do what he says, or else.
- Braden tempts Ryan with an invitation to murder.
- Ryan has his own idea of trapping Braden, and bringing him out into the light.
- Ryan is waylaid with surprises, of the bad variety.
- Krystal suffers tremendously for her crimes, behind bars.
- Krystal makes an interesting new 'friend', Diana Cole ( WHICH SEEMS TO BE DIXIE)
- Tad tries to be her hero, but she won’t have it.
- Erica suspects that Zach is full of it, and calls the man on the carpet.
- Still clueless and mourning over the death of her husband Edmund, Maria seeks to tend to her grieving children.
- Isabella blasts Maria for her actions
- Sam arrives home and comforts his mother
- Upon learning of Maria's relationship with Zach, Sam becomes furious
- Sam withholds his affections from Maria, over this death, and Zach’s part in it.
- The people of Pine Valley go to bid Edmund a fond farewell, on the event of his memorial.
- JR wants to know what the hell Adam is up to lately.
- Adam and JR join forces to make David look even more like a fool.

***There are rumors afoot that Jonathan suffers from multiple personality disorder, which could explain better his hand in the attempted murder of Ryan and the poisoning of Greenlee, among other crimes of passion. The actor ably portraying Jonathan, Jeff Branson, is game for anything, crediting the bulk of the impetus for the character’s acting out to a dysfunctional, abusive family background. .

Jonathan sure looked like he was about to go psycho on Kendall. And what is she thinking going in there alone attacking Jonathan. Even Simone had the good sense to only go there armed with mace.

I agree about Kendall although she thinks that she can solve any problem. She is great about doing things without thinking.

I sure do like having Simone around again. She just makes me laugh. Between her comments and her facial expressions, I am in stitches.

Also what is up with Jamie's hair? He needs a haircut!

I really don't like the way Maddie and now Sam are attacking Maria. I guess we don't have a lot of light hearted moments lately and I could use a good laugh. Especially Tad in the good old days.

Has Sam been onscreen yet? Did I miss him? The new Maddie didn't thrill me. I ff most of Friday but all of sudden she just appears, yells at her mom, and runs away. How weird was that. Maria should have been yelling at her, how did you age so much in only a year???????? LOL!!!

I just can't get used to the fast aging Sam and Maddie although I did tear up today when Sam didn't say a word to Maria and then just said "mom."

Loved Kendall and Greenlee's scenes today especially when Kendall grabbed Greenlee's hand when they both went for the check.

Looks like we meet the new Dixie tomorrow.

I HATE waiting all weekend and getting a boring Monday.

I don't care for the new Sam and Maddie. I don't see how we're supposed to believe that Sam is young enough to be Bobby's; he wasn't 12 when the kid was born.

I don't mind "nasty" characters, but I'm getting sick of the hate-filled like Ethan and Johnathan and even JR.

I'm already not liking the sound of this possible Dixie character.

I think this is the first time in maybe forever that I haven't really liked even one story line.

I couldn't help but see some of the hints about Krystal possibly encountering Dixie in jail..............that is so ridiculous - I would be so disappointed if that was the direction that the writers decided to take! Not only is it implausible, but (as you all said) it would be totally ruining a good character - making her "story" and personality completely inconsistent with the way that we always "knew" her. I really hope that the rumors are just rumors............

I was also touched by Sam's reaching out to Maria, but I think that Maria should have reprimanded Maddie for being so disrespectful to her. Of course she is grieving for her father, but that gives her no right to speak to her mother in such a demeaning and disrespectful way. I hope that they make Maddie less belligerent in the future, or else I say - BRING BACK BRATTY-MADDIE! And I totally don't understand why Maria would want to see the DVD, then not want to see it, then just take Ethan's word for what was on it. And now Ethan is obviously torn between "destroying his father" and doing what's right (since he always knew that Zach didn't kill Ed-dumb anyway, and now knows that Ed-dumb was a conniving liar, too).......I hope that he doesn't dig himself deeper into the lies than he already is. It's so nice to see Kendall happy, for a change, and I really like the 2 of them together. It would be a shame if he wound up in jail for perjury, just as he and Kendall are beginning to become serious with their relationship!

I also liked the scenes with Kendall and Greenlee, yesterday - when they toasted saying "I hate you" (even though we knew that they meant the opposite) and when Kendall touched Greenlee's hand when they both reached for the check. I like it so much better when they are friends than when they are enemies. And they always have some really good one-liners for each other, too!

As for Ryan - he should have just continued on the "I'm not standing by anyone any more" thread, instead of sort of "agreeing" to "partner" with Jonathan, again - needless to say, he is just asking for trouble. And Jonathan has been doing a very effective job with the beginnings of his multiple-personality-disorder story - he always seems off-kilter - like part of him is really remorseful about what he has done and wants to help, but there is another part of him that scares him and that he can't control. I think that it will be interesting to see how they develop that - and how they explain that "Braden" (in this case) is just another aspect of Jonathan.
