I thought "Amanda" looked awesome. Lucci looked good - of course. I wasn't feeling the SoapNet pre-show. They all seemed a bit uncomfortable and YUCK to having people stick their feet on that thing. One woman appeared not to have any toes and it really creeped me out. Alexa just kept saying "Fun". "She's fun...He's fun...This is fun....That show is fun...We're going to have fun after...."

Bobbie Eakes is very good. I have her CD and she's awesome.

I didn't watch the Emmys last night - DH had the hockey game on, and since we're moving, we only have one TV right now. I DVR'd it, so I have to check out the fashions - I'm so sorry to hear that no AMCers won. Leven deserved one - alot.

Cady's dress was horrible and meant for a younger woman. I'm so sad Levin and Thorston didn't win. Levin plays Lily so well.

As for earlier years, I liked Angie and Jessie a lot. Chuck and Donna were great also.

Seems like so long ago!

What was that??? IT WAS GAD AWFUL!!!! Levein is a great Actress. So is "Luke" and Sonny. I was THRILLED when Jenny Landon won, I remembered WHO her DAD was right away, she was great with her Acception speech, brought tears to my eyes.

I think he's that way on the show itself. He doesn't necessarily yell everything, but he enunciates so much and bugs his eyes out and bobs his head around - it drives me insane.

I think they call it "overacting".

I really don't care for him - but I'm probably in the minority.

I was just going to watch the taped Emmys, and my mom called.

She watched last night and said that Susan Lucci looked very nice, but she thought her dress was all wrong for a woman her age. She said the one side was sleeveless? And that her arm "looked old".

Good Lord, if anything of mine looks as good as hers at her age, I'll be OK with that.

Yeah me too, but I was also okay with Tony Geary. I do not know if you watch GH as well, but OMG, those scenes with Lucky in the hospital...when he took him off of his life support and told him to breathe....strong, powerful, and masterful acting that was I must say..

That's so funny! My 88 yr old mom never watches soaps, but she knows "Lucci" and Luke. I was watching AMC at her house yesterday and when she saw Erica she said "Her face is beautiful but her arms and neck tell her age." I guess those arms don't lie! I liked her dress but thought the matte black was too drab for her skin.
Cady's dress just scared me. She was so uncomfortable to watch!

One of my dear friends won for ZOOM, he was on for about 2 seconds in the little children's montage after Sesame Street. Thanks to TIVO I slo-mo'd it and got to see him standing up there looking uncomfortable. I'd be terrified!

I just watched the past weeks' shows. Have the say, the b'ball scene of the boys and their 6-packs was dull, but nice to look at.

Have any of you read Cady's blog? People are complimenting her on the dress. Someone stop the madness. The dress was nasty. I love Cady and she's beautiful, but the dress was foolish and anyone who tells her it was great is only encouraging her to make a bigger horse's patoot out of herself in the future.

Support your soap stars - tell them when they look stupid!
