I am fighting a SORE throat, and Back problems, plus my DH wants the Laundry room and my so-called walk- in closet cleaned out! NOW! Why now??? Anyway, this is why I have not been on the boards much. Glad you got to meet more Dis-ers Christine, I had INVENTORY at work, so there was NO WAY I could go to DIS CON! Wish me luck with the "projects" DH has going.....15 years worth of CRAP being Thrown OUT!

How long is Hoolia supposed to be staying this time. I mean we all know how busy Sydney Penney's career in Hollywood is these days.. Is she going to be on for a while now, or is this just a little holiday drop in thing?

In regard to Mia, she fell, head first out a 3rd floor window in a mansion with 15 feet + ceilings.. Figure she fell maybe 30+ feet onto concrete.. Aside from internal bleeding wouldn't you expect her to have a few broken bones? Instead she is up, wandering the hospital.. It must be those magical hair extensions.

Ohhh, Sydney Penney was Hoolia...now I remember her...not REALLY...but I remember her face if not her scenes and plots-wasn't she dating someone named Marcus or do I have my soaps confused?

Hey Everyone!

I haven't read any of your posts today, yet, because I haven't seen today's show, yet. I will come back and post after I do, and catch up on everyone's posts about it, too! Just wanted to let you know that I am, in fact, going to wear a black sweater and skirt when we go to see "Caroline Rhea", tomorrow, which I know is absolutely no help at all! The only distinguishing characteristic is that I will be wearing my silver floating Mickey Mouse head necklace! And here is the most recent photo that I have of DH and me, online, if this helps to identify us, at all (look - I'm wearing black, again!):

Hi again!

Today's episode was pretty boring, wasn't it? DH noticed that JR was twitching less, though.....maybe he's reading our thread and taking the hint! When they showed him behind the bushes when Laurie was talking to her mother, I was thinking "watch out for the stalker / psycho killer, Laurie!"

I enjoyed Anna and Maggie's banter, as she was trying on maternity clothes at the Boutique (another set that they haven't used in awhile, that we're seeing for the first time in ages.....maybe they ARE reading this thread!).....but I was a little annoyed when Anna said to Myrtle "......next time bring something smaller than a size 10....." Yeah - size 10 maternity clothes? What size was she to start with? Negative zero????

Hoolia's boyfriend (and later husband) on the show was Noah, Lilboo - how could you forget?? He left the show to become a BIG STAR, as well.........and now appears on "Andromeda" which is on at inconsistent, obscure times that barely anyone can remember!

Feel better, Faith! And lots of good luck with all of that stuff! I'm sure that it will get done in no time!

OK, Sherry - now I have confirmed that both DH AND I are wearing all black, tomorrow - look for us - we'll be the ones fading into the woodwork! DH is actually going to be very disappointed when I tell him that Patrick Stewart, who was originally the scheduled guest for tomorrow, is not going to be on the show! Who cares - we'll have fun, anyway! Jamie Lynn Sigler is going to be the guest......we can pretend that we're in the studio audience of "The Wave"!

Sydney Penny only taped 2 shows and they will air sometime in December. Can't say I'm disappointed. Hoolia never was a favorite character of mine. I thought she was a major whiney-face. And I must be the only one on the planet that didn't like the Hoolia and Noah love story. Blech! The following story does say that Sydney could return for future episodes but it sounds rather vague.

Oooo, sorry Lisa, I forgot ALL about Caroline's show! It comes on at 4:00pm here. Feeling better today, throat is still a little scratchy, but doing better...I actually went to work today. Well, the Closet is cleaned out and it took 2 trips to the Dump! I FINALLY have my OWN closet in MY OWN room! I went and bought some Damp Rid and pretty smelly stuff for it too. I DID find some Pictures of my Disney trip with the kids from 1996! Boy, did I SUCK at taking Pictures! Thanks to Dan Murphy, I am MUCH better! Show was OK, getting Sick of the jealousy look from ED-DUMB anytime Maria is around another man!

Hey Everyone!

Thank you all so much for looking for me in the Caroline audience, today - it was so kind of you to take the time to do so! I did my best to get my way into her "Cash Cow" game, but as you saw, she only picked one member of the audience at random.....so if DH and I were "on TV" at all, it was in an audience shot. Believe it or not, Caroline has not yet come on here, today - she's on at 12:35 AM - so we haven't even seen today's episode on TV, yet! It's possible that the camera could have caught us - we had very good seats - toward the front and right on the aisle! And here's a little "secret"........we didn't just see today's episode taped, today, but also pieces of tomorrow's (Patrick Stewart) and Tuesday's (Elijah Wood), as well - Caroline changed her outfit 3 times to make it look like the pieces were taking place on different days! Anyway.....believe it or not, she allowed photographs in the studio, during commercial breaks, so if anyone would like to see us, Caroline, her studio, and Rockefeller Center:

Her studio happens to be right next door to the one in which "Saturday Night Live" is taped. We saw it, but I was too chicken to sneak a photo! There is a picture of me, in the above album, outside Chris Kattan's dressing room, though!

We took home tons of gifts! I guess that Caroline is continuing Rosie's tradition of giving lots of gifts to the audience! We each (DH and I!) got the guest bandleader / trumpeter's CD, a Gund teddy bear, a Gameboy Advance with several games (look for Patrick Stewart to be "giving that to the entire studio audience" on tomorrow's show!), a "Lord of the Rings" 4 DVD box set (look for Elijah Wood to be "giving that to the entire studio audience" on Tuesday's show!), and Caroline Rhea Show T-shirts and key chains! We had so much stuff that we needed to buy a shopping bag, just to carry it all home!

Anyway, we had fun.....but I haven't seen "AMC" yet, so I can't say anything about today's episode, yet!

I watched the show yesterday, but the only thing I remember is how STUPID Ed-dumb is being. I liked Maria's line...something about you don't want Maria back, you want Maureen GONE!

Hi Pembo!

Thanks for looking at my deluge of pictures - I figured "hey, if they're letting us take pictures in here, why not?" Oh - and of course, I forgot to mention the most memorable part of Caroline's show, for all of us "AMC" fans - getting to see and hear "Donald Steele" sing! I actually did see him in "Into the Woods", years ago, and he was fantastic!

(By the way, we finally got to watch the show, and we could see ourselves - from "afar", mostly - since the camera that scanned the audience was suspended over the opposite side of the seating area, from where we were sitting. There was an excellent, clear shot of my DH, though, taken from the front! We'll watch tonight and Tuesday and see if we can catch another glimpse of ourselves! )

I finally watched yesterday's "AMC", too. I guess that Simone's-father-#3 is here to stay. I still think that he's a bit "cheerier" than the previous 2 - even when he was "being mean" to Simone. At least this guy seems to be sort of compassionate - one of the other previous fathers would have been a lot meaner when giving her the video tape. I guess that now that she knows that Frank witnessed her brother's OD'ing and didn't do anything about it, she will stop seeing him and "stand on her own 2 feet".....and that's how she'll wind up with Kendall and Greenlee (I noticed how she made a point of telling her father that Frank was her "only chance". Now I guess she'll realize that she can "make it on her own".)

Speaking of "predictions", how many times have they mentioned that David's community service will be done at the free clinic?? Of course he's going to use one of his patients there as a "guinea pig" while testing his new drug, prior to use on Maria.......and he won't tell Anna......and Anna will find out and get mad and say "you lied to me, AGAIN......" and the whole cycle will start all over again.......

I actually thought that the conversation between Brooke and Liza was kinda nice! At least Liza didn't "beat her up" too much and Brooke didn't beat herself up too much, either.

Aidan, Maria, and Ed-dumb......zzzzzzzzzzzzz..........now Maria and Ed-dumb are keeping secrets from eachother......like Liza and Adam and David and Anna.....is this what we have to look forward to, for the next few weeks? More stupid "cat and mouse" games? I did like that line that Maria said about Ed-dumb's wanting Maria back so much and wanting Maureen gone, too, Pembo!

Hi everyone!! I've missed quite a few shows lately due to holiday preparations, moving my DD out of her dorm, etc., but I had to post about today's show. I think that AMC needs to add Nancy Drew to their list of characters. She could start with today's mystery: The Case of the Disappearing Carolers Did anyone else notice that Maria was decorating her tree, singing Deck the Halls right along with the carolers that were right outside her window, even picked up the plate of cookies to give to them when she heard a knock at her door! BUT when she opens the door, there stands Aidan and not a caroler in sight! You'd think that one of them might have noticed that he was hurt as he clutched his side and made his way to Maria's door! I realize that this is Pine Valley, but I would appreciate a little reality once in a while.
