Yes doodle, there was a farewell to Mark & Kelly today. Kelly seemed pretty broken up but Mark sure didn't. Also they did a TERRIBLE job of hiding Kelly's tummy today. In one scene you could see her pregnant belly button. LOL!!!!

Basically it was a party at SOS that only Adam, Isabella and Chris Stamp attended. With a quick visit from M-M. Stamp is arranging for Hoolia to surprise her mother at Xmas. It ended with a montage of vintage Hayley & Mateo. I'm sure Kelly Ripa loved seeing herself running on the beach in a bikini!


How long until the heart necklace from Isabella is on shop at the soaps?????????

Doing better thanks. Lisa I PM'd you yesterday, hope you got it. I just caught the VERY tail end of the Hailey/Mateo farewell, and they did a montage thing with sappy music playing. Anyway, it was kind of sad, but, hey they haven't been on the show much anyway, and I guess the writers have too much going on now, to do a story on them. But, I am sure they will be back....hey! Saw a commercial with Hoolia in it, her hair is short and M/M is holding a rake or something on her! Maybe that will be on tomorrow's show? Take care gang, and stay healthy and safe this week.

I still can't believe that the writers and producers at AMC let Kelly and Mark go before Hooooooolia came back. What a coo to have the major Santos Characters all reunited albeit for only a day or two.. We could have even had a visit from the Ghost of Papa Santos, you know those Christmas miracles that AMC loves to much..

Oh well, chalk it up to their insolence at doing ANYTHING to grab a bigger share of the audience. I have a feeling that Mark was chomping at the bit to leave though, we all know how many major movie offers he has.. He is the latin Tom Cruise (at least in his own mind.)

Pembo - did you miss it? Hayley's new heart necklace already WAS on Shop the Soaps! It was during one of the commercial breaks toward the end of the show! Needless to say, I'm sure that we all called THAT one, ahead of time! The voice over said ".....always remember Hayley and Mateo's love, with this open heart necklace....." but the necklace wasn't given to Hayley by Mateo - it was given to her by his mother! Oh well! Yeah, Hayley and Mateo's going away party wasn't very well attended, was it? Don't forget - Jake was there, for some reason, at the beginning! Since when was Jake really close with them? Why wasn't Ed-dumb, his kids, and the staff of Wildwind there? Or Brooke, who used to be Hayley's best friend (they were eachother's matrons of honor a few times each, I think)? Did Liza stay away because Adam was going to be there? And why weren't Stuart and Marian there? Well, at least all of SOS's professional dancing extras took the time to show up! Even though I used to love Hayley and Mateo, back in the days when he was trying to woo her away from Alec, I just didn't feel very sad about them leaving, now. Probably because in the recent past, all Mateo did was brood over the Proteus thing and all Hayley did was give anyone in earshot judgmental lectures!

At least they "set up" Hoolia's return by having Mateo mention her name (he told Maria "this is our other sister"......as if he forgot that they have 2 more sisters......at least Mama Santos mentioned Anita and Rrrrrosa by name!) and having Chris imply that he was arranging for her return. Speaking of Chris, shouldn't Erica have been there to send Hayley off, since it was Hayley's idea to give Enchantment to her??!!

Sarge - Mateo must also be the Latin John Travolta, in his own mind - I still can't get over that whole choreographed dance that he and Hayley did at the opening of SOS, which they keep showing! I guess they're not going to tell us who bought SOS from Mateo, after all.

I wish that I could buy Jake's being so in love with Mia, but I just don't see that, either. He was totally head over heels in love with Greenlee (I liked him better, then - with Mia, he sort of acts like Tad did with Ditsie, most of the time!)......and then all of a sudden he's engaged to Mia, after like 3 official "dates" and her blowing him off for Adam a million times before that. I don't blame Frank for being upset. When Mia told him "I thought that you would be at peace by now", I didn't blame him for ripping into her - she tells him less than 24 hours ago that they had a son together 5 years ago, whom she gave up for adoption, and she expects him to be like "oh, that's nice"....and move on with his life??!!

Who shot Aidan? Is that really related to whomever it was who grabbed Maria? I hope that this isn't going to turn into some unrelated "crime drama" storyline a la Proteus.........!

I didn't even shed a tear, and I am usually such a sap for stuff like that.

Why is Jake pressing Mia to make Liza pay for what she did? I mean, I can understand his being mad/upset about what she did, it was a horrible thing to do, but why is he pushing it so much? Mia seems to want to just let it go, why can't he?

Hi Sherry! DH said exactly the same thing about Jake's pushing Mia to blame Liza for her fall, and making her pay for her actions. I think it was interesting that Mia brought up the possibility that Jake was still harboring some residual resentment for Liza for "taking Colby away from him" all those years ago. He's been trying to have a baby with someone - anyone - ever since! Even though he discounted that idea, I'll bet she's right - I'll bet that he does still hold a grudge because Colby didn't turn out to be his biological child!

Jake & Mia-BLEAH! I loved it when she was in the hospital and he is planning their wedding RIGHT away and she says NO! Good girl. This whole Frank/Mia/William thing is old too. Are they going to trump out a William for us all to see?

I HATE that shirt Liza had on yesterday, the black & white stripe thing. She looks fat in it and haven't we seen that one before? I don't want to see the same clothes on soap characters, that's sad.

And one more thing....do any of you who are parents out there let your young child walk out to your friends car ALONE???? Wouldn't a good mom walk poor little Colby-cheese out to her friends car???? No we just wave from the door, Bye Honey! Next week you'll be 15!

Yesterday, Mateo was babbling how Hoolia was taller than Maria?! I remembered her to be shorter. Maria was always the tallest and Mateo the shortest. Am I right?????

Why was Hoolia in the witness program? Someone killed her dad because of her right? Help me AMC history buffs.

Ok, before I read everyone's posts today I just want to say:

I liked the scenes between David and Greens today. It was sweet and I felt so bad for Greenelee. I wanted to cry with her. I am glad that Anna found that bullet hole too. Now I dont like this Aiden shot - Maria surgery storyline - it is so dumb!!!!!! And so unbelievable. Ughh - make it end!!!

Okay, now I will have to go read everyones posts for today.

If I remember correctly, Hooooooooooolia witnessed some Mob hit. We all know how much Pine Valley is a mecca for Mafiosa types.. Anyway, she witnessed something to do with the mob and they put a hit out on her if she testified, which she did... It had something to do with Noah's mother as well, it may have been her ex-lover or something.... Anyway, Noah's mom, Noah and HOOOOOOLIA went off to live in the program leaving Noah's sister (forgot her name) to languish alone in Pine Valley until she evaporated. I wish I could remember it better....

Wow, this thread was buried! I guess everyone missed the show Friday? I saw the last 10 mins - I tuned in when the FBI agent walked in Ed-dumbs house. So now we see Julia.

Thanks for the warning, Christine!

I think that you remember the Hoolia / Noah witness protection program storyline very well, Sarge - far better than I do, that's for sure!

I didn't notice the OJ, Pembo - I will keep an eye out for it (maybe Shop the Soaps brand OJ??!!)! And I couldn't believe that they let Colby Cheese walk out of the house alone, either!

I also think that Maddie is totally annoying, Lilboo! The NuSam is very cute and certainly less morose than Sam #2.......but he's no Tom Hanks, either!

I could not believe that Kendall came and grabbed JR and kissed him in front of Laurie - that was pretty low! I've noticed that he hasn't been twitching and scrunching quite as much lately.....but he still looks psycho to me! I wish that they would show more of Jamie, instead!

Pembo, I also remember Maria being taller than Hoolia (although NuRRRRosa was pretty tall, herself!). And in terms of her hoisting Aidan up to the hay loft, don't forget that Fate the horse and a wheel barrow and pulley helped her, too! (Maria was very resourceful in terms of getting him up there......how she got him from her car to the barn remains a mystery, though!)

OK, now it looks like we're going to have another "crime drama" storyline, just as I'd feared. Who did Aidan murder in England?

Mia had some nerve expecting Simone (whom she barely knows) to help her by talking to Frank, and by guilting her into it, taking advantage of the pain that she obviously feels about her brother's OD'ing. But Simone ultimately fell for it and went along with it! Mia acts all wimpy and bland, but she has it in her to be a manipulative jerk. She's acting all innocent about this Liza thing, but I can recall her going out of her way to withhold information from and lie to Liza when Liza trusted her and gave her money and a place to stay. Simone should have told her to clean up her own mess and walked out of there!

Hoolia looked nice - for the few seconds that we saw her! I wonder how they will explain why Noah isn't there with her. Maybe Chris could only get one of them "out" at once. Interesting how Kendall mentioned Anton's name, for the first time since she came back to PV, the other day. I wonder if they will have Hoolia run into Kendall at some point, during the few days that she is on the show, so that they can relive their old resentment over Anton!
