I really need to catch up on the shows from when I was on vacation. I think I am still on the Friday right around Father's Day.. Maybe today, I will have the time.. I have to agree with everyone else.. Carlo's character is, well, lackluster... However I would like to go to whatever school he did to learn a 2nd language in 1 week. I am not sure about Lena yet. I don't really like her with Binky though. Binky is supposed to be, what 18, 19 maybe and Lena is too old for her. Unless they turn the story about Lena around though, her part has been really boring lately.

Wow lots of new faces...and they all hate Lena!

My watching of the show has been so spotty I couldn't bring myself to pop in here ..but yes...puhleeeeze...Binks isn't too swif t herself, is she? Lena??? When I see those two together ...I just think" Aunt and Niece" -not lovers. YO're right Sarge...Lena's a SNOOZE.

And SPeaking of SNOOZY...Carlos. You can show us his bare chest ALL YOU LIKE and for me...NOTHING. HAve nothing to say about him. Actually...seeing him and Greenlee together did make me feel a little sick.

But...ooh that kiss between Bible Joanie and Reggie...eeeew and ...so amateurish! No heat ...just giggles and gags!

Did they drop the possible Tad and Simone hookup?

There was another cute moment this week. When Mia was apologizing to Tad and Liza did you hear Tad say, "We're witnessing a real live Mia-Culpa moment". I thought I'd spit out my coffee.

Yeah, Tad was very funny, last week! I just hope that they don't pursue this "Jamie-becoming-Tad-the-Cad-Jr." idea, too much. They made him out to be such a nice guy before, it would be a shame if they ruined his character like they ruined Jake's.

I think that Tad and Simone could have had some funny scenes together, if they made them a couple, but I would like to see him back with Liza for old time's sake! Besides, her character is so much more interesting when she's around Tad........and when she's away from Adam and his mausoleum-like mansion!

I paid attention to that NJ commercial, when I saw it a few days ago, Pam, and I don't think that the "you can rock the Pony" woman is Bianca.........I think that she's a little older.......but I could be wrong........you're right, the scenes change so quickly that it's hard to tell!

Now that we're seeing Mrs. Lacey on the show, regularly, I wonder if we'll ever see her daughter, Philomena, again? Remember her? She was the computer whiz who was friends with Rosa, when she was on the show last year? Maybe she graduated and went to PVU, and will wind up in one of Maggie's classes!

I wonder what the weather will be like in Pine Valley, today! Heatwave? Snowstorm? They have to watch out for those dreaded "rolling brown outs" that only Carlos can seem to fix!

Yeah, that whole scene with Carlos and Greenlee in the boathouse was pretty nauseating. And they sure got home to change and go out to the Valley Inn pretty quickly, didn't they?

I can't imagine that Michael won't catch on to Mia, Kendall, and Aidan's scheme - or that the scheme will actually work!

No Faith, Greenlee doesn't know that she's Jack's daughter, yet, or vice versa - they'll probably drag it out all summer, before either of them find out (a la Proteus and Ed-dumb seeing Maria for the first time). I can't wait to find out what it is that Tad found out about Mary. As I'd said, I wonder if it has something to do with her past indiscretions with younger men........like Carlos!

Haven't seen today's episode, yet. I'm wondering if they will show the other version of the new opening credits, today.

The Blackout begins this week. Four Women. Four Secrets. One very scary night in Pine Valley.

The four women are Erica, Kendall, Bianca and Greenlee (all Erica's "daughters").

Now, what in the world is this all about? Just when we were starting to enjoy the show. And who whacked Tad today?

Very interesting, Pam! I hadn't heard anything about that storyline! I wonder what that's all about?

I think that it was David who whacked Tad. I guess that they're not giving up on the "David's revenge against the Martins" storyline. UGH.

I still want to know what Tad found out about "Niblets" - the suspense is killing me. I can't believe the cruel things that she said to Carlos, yesterday. I know that she felt rejected by him, but she didn't have to make those prejudiced comments and attack him, for no reason. Maybe there was more to their relationship than just the "lady of the manor and the pool boy" thing.

I really hope that yesterday's kiss was just a one-time thing, and that they're not going to put Mia with Aidan, now. It seems like they keep trying her out with every man in PV, to see where she "fits". The previews for today's show showed her flirting with Jamie! Who's next - Petey?!!

Yes, Sarge, Faith is correct - "Niblets" was apparently Jack's "pet name" for Mary, when they were dating, years ago - she signed the card that came with a huge bouquet of flowers for him, that way (of course, Erica read the card and exclaimed "WHO IS 'NIBLETS'????!!!!!" )

Pembo - here is a recap of today's episode (from ABC.com - sorry, I'm lazy, tonight! ):

"Tad is surprised when he regains consciousness to find himself handcuffed to a chair with David in the room. David makes a subtle threat against Jamie. After David leaves, Tad manages to call Anna for help. Tad asks Anna to do something about David before he hurts someone. David is later seen concocting a mysterious formula. After getting a police emergency call about a possible shooting, Anna is forced to leave Tad still handcuffed to the chair. Liza arrives and assumes Tad's situation is the result of some adult fun gone wrong. Liza insists she doesn't want to revisit the past with Tad and doesn't release him from his handcuffs in order to teach him a lesson. Mia and Simone can't help but be amused and flattered when Jamie tries to put the moves on them in the park. Brooke voices her fear that Jamie is following in Tad's footsteps when he was that age to Joe. Mary rises to Erica's challenge and tells Greenlee that she is in love with Jack but doesn't reveal the truth about him being Greenlee's father. Greenlee is disgusted with Erica and Mary when she believes they are having an immature fight about which woman will end up with Jack. Erica warns Mary that both Jack and Greenlee will hate her if they were to learn what Erica has uncovered. Carlos asks Greenlee if she used something he told her to force Diane Lacey to replace the Enchantment counter with Fusion products at the store. Greenlee lies to Carlos and insists she didn't force Diane to do anything. Jack is alerted when Reggie seems to be saying goodbye. Joni is proud of Reggie when she believes he told Jack the truth about Luis and the supplies. While visiting Jack, Joni realizes that Reggie didn't come clean with Jack and they determine that Reggie has gone after Luis himself. Joni alerts Erica to the fact that Jack left the hospital to try and stop a shooting. Reggie holds Luis at gunpoint as Jack arrives at the worksite. Jack convinces Reggie not to throw his life away by shooting Luis. Anna and several officers arrive and arrest Luis. Jack appeals to Anna not to arrest Reggie but a comment by Erica forces Anna to handcuff Reggie as well. Jack leaves Erica to accompany Reggie to the police station."

It wasn't particularly thrilling, but I have to say that the scene with Jack convincing Reggie not to throw away his life by shooting Luis was pretty touching. The thing with David and Tad and Liza was pretty silly. I guess that David is going to try to poison the Martin family, now, as they showed him mixing up one of his famous "potions" at the end of today's show. LOVELY.

You were wondering about the new promo for the show. Have you guys heard the latest? I guess that Michael attacks Bianca and rapes her and then I also heard that someone murders him (I think Mia). But the actor who plays Michael will still be on the show so that may mean that he plays his "dead brother" who may not really be dead after all. These are just rumors but very strong rumors.

I was behind for about 2 weeks, so I couldn't read this thread, but now I'm caught up!

Whoever commented about Tad always wearing a suit, when he isn't working, good point! Can't the man wear shorts and a t-shirt???

I wanna join the "IHateCarlos" club, yuck!!!!!!!!!! His acting is soooo bad. I'm sorta liking Lena, can't decide yet.

I think Reggie and Joanie are kind of cute. Reggie was pretty good with the gun yesterday, I hope they continue to improve his character and don't trash him. But, who the heck wears mini-skirts to be at a construction sight all the time???

Brooke sure has an answer for everyone this week. First for Laurie "I was married to an alcoholic, here's what you have to do". Then to David "I lost my daughter, here's what you have to do". Good thing she's around to save Pine Valley.

I love Tad and Liza together, they're so funny! They have such great chemistry and they banter back and forth so well.

Mia seems to be coming back to normal, but there is way to much man kissing and swapping going on with Mia and Kendall and Simone and Aidan and Boyd (where is he anyway) and Kenny and Michael. Someone please settle these characters down.

I thought that maybe what Tad dug up on Mary was with Carlos too, but I remembered awhile back he told Mary that she didnt' remember him from when he was the pool boy and he rejected her advances. Should be interesting to see what they have.

Someone please make David happy again too. He has such a great smile, I get tired of seeing him mad all the time.

WOW, Janice! Those are some interesting possibilities for storylines! I hadn't heard about any of that - it will be interesting to see if those things wind up happening.

Very funny about Brooke saving PV, Erika! She has an experience to share with everyone!

I can't believe that "all" that Mary's big secret was was the fact that she was involved with a 17 year old who took all of her money and got her kicked out of the country..........like THAT would surprise either Greenlee or Jack?? And like Greenlee would be surprised if Mary just returned to PV for her money? Mary and Roger stole from Greenlee's trust fund for years! There has to be more to the "big secret"..........

I for one hope that they don't follow through on this rape thing with Bianca. To me, it is really a really cheap way to get ratings. How many times is Michael going to get away with this?
