Have not watched consistently in ages but caught a bit of a preview with Jake and his new fiancee? WHat a LOUSE...why bring her back and flaunt her in front of two-time loser Mia...that's just cruel.(unless there's something else going on that justifies it somehow...)

Yea!!! No more Drone Chick! (Now, when are they going to get rid of Sister Christian??) And yea!!! Ryan's coming back!!!

I had a feeling that Greenlee would wind up being Jack's daughter, the second that we found out that Mary and Jack had had an affair, years ago. That Mary sure gets around, doesn't she? I can't believe that they're implying that something went on between her and Carlos, in the past - definitely shades of Tad-Marian-Liza and Hayley-Alec-Arlene, as you all said, last week!

I watched all of last week's episodes in succession, so I got "hit" with the full "force" of the depressing Leora scenes, all at once. UGH. I was ready to slit my wrists after watching all of them! They were very well done - Anna and David had better be nominated for Daytime Emmy's next year - but they were so depressing! In fact, all of last week was pretty depressing (with the exception of Ed-dumb's proposal to Maria) - between Henry telling his mother that he was expelled, Mia running into Ed-dumb and Maria and then having to see Jake with his new fiancee, Bianca and Erica fighting, Lena begging Bianca's forgiveness.......AND the Leora's death storyline - pretty sad! The only "lighthearted" points dealt with the Fusion Sexiest Man stuff! Where is Lysistrata, when you need her? We could use some laughs!

Will Tad and Mia get together, now? I was really rooting for Tad and Liza to get back together! Or will she somehow wind up with Michael? It seems like they don't know what to do with Mia - they just keep throwing her in one mismatched relationship after another. I can't believe that they allowed Jake's character to become such a creep. The "old Jake" would never just show up in PV, like that, with a new fiancee, so soon. And expect his family to just accept that and welcome her (which they did, strangely enough). I'm glad that Tad sort of told him off!

I believe that Aprille had this idea first, but I think that David and Greenlee would make a much more interesting couple than Carlos and Greenlee! And who will wind up with Jack? Mary? Anna? Somehow, I just don't think that it's going to be Erica...........

Had a wonderful time at WDW, despite the fact that we had maybe 6 hours of sun, the entire week that we were there! We had a very special first wedding anniversary, there, and we also celebrated the 2 year anniversary of the day on which my DH proposed to me at the Poly, too! It was great meeting Aprille in person and spending some time with her! We also visited with Katie (the daughter of Mary Jo who posts on this thread), while she was portraying Snow White in the Magic Kingdom - it was great to see her, again! We also spent a lot of time with our 2 CM friends, one of whom works at Fantasmic and one of whom works at the Contemporary. We had another great backstage tour of Fantasmic and were given VIP seating for the show, as well! And my biggest "accomplishment" of the week: I RODE SPLASH MOUNTAIN FOR THE FIRST TIME! I can't believe that I was afraid to do so, for so many years - it was so much fun!

I think they are carrying this a bit too far... Also, HOW did Anna wind up in Jackson's Pad? I must have missed that!

Faith - Anna couldn't bear the thought of staying at the cabin - especially since David wasn't there - so she ran away from Aidan and Maggie (who were at the cabin, helping her) and showed up at Jack's apartment. He insisted that she spend the night there, so that she wouldn't be alone. Then Erica saw her and freaked out (I KNEW that that would happen! Very low blow, though, when she told Jack to enjoy his "comfort sex" - Erica usually doesn't stoop that low (except when doing things like having Lena deported or fixing Bianca up, behind her back!). Very disappointing.).

I haven't seen today's episode, yet, but I did see yesterday's. Figures - they finally give Laurie a good scene, just before she leaves! I thought that the scene with her and David in the cemetary was very touching.

Joanie and Reggie, on the other hand.........would somebody please help them with their lines??!! I think that Joanie seriously throws Reggie off - when he's doing his scenes with Jack, he's funny, but when he does his scenes with her, for some reason they both rush through their lines, so that they are barely intelligible! And they seem to stress the wrong words in their sentences, as if they don't even understand what they are saying to one another, and are just reading off of cue cards, or something! Does anyone else notice that strange phenomenon??!!

What has happened to Chris? We heard they found his body and Erica cried but wasn't that it? Unless I'm forgetting (which is possible) I don't think they've had any kind of memorial service for the poor guy. I'm not sure anyone has even claimed his body.

Time is running very oddly in PV. When they mentioned that Jackson's bleeding problem was from the shooting Erica made some remark about that "being a long time ago". Huh? And, if it is a "long time ago" then poor Chris has been on ice for a very long time!

And what about the bad guy who was after Maddie? Didn't they say he survived? Well, where is he and why isn't anyone still looking for him? Lots of loose ends floating around these storylines.

Bunchkin - I have a feeling that you're right about Joanie throwing off Reggie - she unnerves me, just watching her - I can imagine what it's like, having to act with her!

Pam - I agree with you - time is passing very weirdly, in PV, these days. We must be in the middle of a very long night, right now - how late do those women work at Fusion?? And why would Joanie's father not mind her being alone at the construction site, after dark (even though he later realized that Reggie was there with her)? It seems like so many things have taken place during the course of this one evening! One minute, Joe is at home, entertaining Jake and his fiancee, and the next minute he is back at the hospital, talking about how Leora's funeral was that day, and fighting with David? Maybe they are holding off on having Chris's memorial service until Ryan returns? With the way that time is running in PV, these days, even if Ryan doesn't REALLY return until next month, it may still be the same night in "PV time", by then!

AHA!!!! We KNEW that Greenlee was going to wind up being the only acceptable donor for Jack! Figures that they would work in a storyline involving Jack needing a rare type of blood, so that his relationship to Greenlee could be revealed. At least they acknowledged Kit's existence (although thank God they didn't bring her back, for this storyline!)! I guess it just goes to show that everyone in PV is, indeed, related to everyone else, somehow!

Even though the storyline with the beach party and the kids mocking them was pretty silly, I think that Simone and Kenny would be a cute couple. I hope that they wind up expanding his character - it's cute how he sort of fumbles around - I liked his line about getting his boxer shorts on "Unmentionables.com"! I'm also happy to see that they are having some ethnically diverse characters on AMC, these days. I'm Jewish, and I have long wondered why there are no Jews in Pine Valley! I was happy when Kenny happened to mention his background to Simone - it would be neat if they got together, to see how they incorporated and worked out their ethnic / religious differences. My DH is Catholic, so it would be neat for us to see how they depict an interfaith couple on AMC. I was also happy to see Henry and his family arrive, since there hasn't been a major Asian character on AMC since An Li, in the 80's! Maybe with Reggie, and if they expand Janelle's role, there will be more of an African American presence on the show again, as well.

I can't believe that Erica proclaimed that Kendall is "not her daughter"........2 sentences after she finished telling Greenlee about how evil Michael terrorized her "daughter, Kendall"! A few episodes ago, Erica was being all protective of Kendall, and now she is cooling off to her, again? I hope that this is not leading to another feud between the 2 of them.

What was the purpose of having that girl admit to Jamie that she had liked him and wanted to go out with him, if a minute later, he left her high and dry to tend to Laurie and her drunk father? I wonder if she will be a new love interest for Jamie, to "transition" his attention away from Laurie, when she leaves? And why were Laurie and Joanie so willing to be at a party where alcohol was being served, a mere 6 months after the Masquerade Ball debacle, at the Chandler mansion??

It will be interesting to see Ed-dumb and Maria's upcoming wedding, next week! It would be nice if they brought Julia, Mateo, Anita, Rosa, and Dimitri back to the show, for the occasion, but I bet that they will just have an intimate ceremony with Isabella and the kids, in the Wildwind chapel.

I'm a little shaky on the AMC "history" for a gap of a few years so maybe you folks can help figure some things out for me from time to time. Now, wasn't Anna's twin sister married to Dimitri? I know they didn't realize they had sisters but it seems strange that we never hear from her at all. Not for the wedding, birth of Leora or now her death? I started watching again around that time so I'm not sure why they went off to Hungary and why they've never returned?

I hope the wedding is a lot of fun to watch. We need something to bring us out of the depression of the last week's funeral scenes.

Pam-Yes Anna's twin is married to Dimmie and they up and disappeared to Hungary awhile ago. The writers never really explained their disappearance. I too dislike when the storylines aren't consistent. Us fans have GREAT memories!

With all my moving, I missed the funeral scenes. Was Robin there?


Jack-Greenlee's father?????? That means if Erica marries Jack then she'll be the wicked stepmother to Greens! LOL!

I'm glad I didn't miss the big re-wedding. I too wish they'd get the whole Santos clan there, including Hayley and Mateo. Kelly Ripa at least could do a one day gig.


BTW-Anyone else see the opening credits on Friday? They really need to update those. Half the people are dead or gone!

No. Anna spoke to her on the phone right after they got back to the cabin when Leora died. Robin wanted to come but I forget the explanation Anna gave why she didn't need to come. In the "real world" that would be strange....never to see your half-sister?

Yeah, it is strange that Anna never had any contact with Alex throughout her pregnancy, or after the death of her child. Not to mention the fact that she never had any contact with her long lost brother, Gabriel (anybody remember him???!!), either!

What did you all think of Edmund and Maria's wedding? I thought that Maria looked beautiful, although like Greenlee, even though she would look great in anything, I thought that the dress could have been more flattering on the top. Her hair and makeup looked very nice, though, and Ed-dumb looked nice, too. He sort of "redeemed himself" in my mind (after throwing Maureen over his shoulder and locking her in the bedroom, months ago), with the words that he said in his vows about how marriage is not about "holding onto someone", etc. I thought that it was very nice. It's just a shame that the rest of the Santos and Marick clan couldn't have been there to share it with them. It was a nice touch that Hayley and Mateo sent her dress, though. I do still feel badly for Aidan (and Mia, to an extent), though.

Speaking of Mia, that was a cute scene with her and Tad wrestling, etc., though it was low of her to bring up the fact that Tad hasn't been with anyone since Ditsie. I hope that they don't put the 2 of them together........I would much rather see him with Liza.........haven't she and Liza already shared the attentions of enough men? (Ryan, Adam, etc.) I would love to see Tad with someone, but I'd much rather see him with Liza or Lysistrata than Mia!

There it is! Greenlee is Jack's daughter! It should be interesting to see how she reacts when she finds out that Roger was never her father and that Mary had been lying to her, all those years. A lot more interesting than watching Greenlee with Carlos, that's for sure! I saw a preview for Leo's new "Las Vegas" series on network TV. I'm sure that he will do well..........though we could sure use him on AMC, right about now! Since when do they put the NAME of a blood donor on the recipient's chart, anyway?? Wouldn't it be an anonymous code number, instead? Oh well!

I couldn't even remember Gabriel's name, although I did think about him when I saw the actor in a telephone commercial. There was a period there where they seem to have just shuttled several characters out the door....even Trey has pretty much disappeared with only an occasional mention.

I keep forgetting Mia and Liza are sisters. I agree, let's find Tad somebody else.

It's funny how they bring these random siblings of AMC characters to the show (like Trey for Kendall, Anna and Gabriel for Alex, even Kit for Jack) and then they disappear, never to be seen or heard from, again! I was amazed that they actually acknowledged Kit Fisher's existence, the other day! And it's kind of amazing that Mia, herself, is still on the show - for awhile there, I thought that she was just going to be "Liza's long lost sister", for a bit, then disappear into the "sibling realm", like the others!
