All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

What a fun party! That Goofy golf was awesome-how creative!!

Can't wait to hear what you guys thought of Chimpanzee. I had hoped to get to see it this weekend but it just didn't work out.

I did take a few minutes and start my trip report if anyone is interested in reading it!

Our very DREAMy spring break cruise

Congratulations on your new princess Jill!:goodvibes What a beautiful name you've chosen!

That Chef Mickey's party looks like it was a ton of fun! You guys are so creative! Looks like the kids had a blast!:thumbsup2 The golf course is such a great idea to keep them entertained!

I saw on Facebook there was going to be a party this weekend. I love the pictures! You guys are so creative!

Even when you aren't eating at Boma, the aroma over by the stairs is worth paying for! It smells so good!

Hope you guys have all kinds of birthday fun!

Day 1 of birthday fun was a success ::yes:: I took my mom out for breakfast this morning at a little place in town. We relaxed at home for a while and then my grandma took us out for a nice dinner. She had a great birthday :) We're both really excited about the Sox game tomorrow :cool1:

We had a great weekend but judging by your party pictures, it looks like your house was the fun place to be this weekend ;) You guys are so creative! Your parties always look like a ton of fun!

Your Chef Mickey's party looks like so much fun!! I'd definitely want to be on cupcake frosting duty!

We would have been glad to have you. We needed many adult hands - and eyes - supervising. :)

Your parties are so creative and fun! And just like WDW filled with little details that make the whole thing more special!

Thanks for sharing. Love those DIS town parties!

We enjoy putting a Disney spin on just about any party any time we can get away with doing so. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Wow, what a great and fun Chef Mickey's party! You guys really do know how to make a great party. I love how you made different sections of the food preparing a certain resort and even where they eat. Then the golfing... how adorable! I wish I had parties like this when I was there age, all I had were pony rides and clowns :P Oh how lucky kids are these days

And you have an awesome Sunday too, MeMom!

You can be the creator of some fun parties for your own kids in the future. :thumbsup2

We did have a nice Sunday. After church, we quickly ate some leftovers and went to see Chimpanzee.

Once again your party pictures put a smile on my face. Your parties are always so creative.

It makes us smile to know you smile, so that works nicely. :goodvibes We have fun doing them.

Another fun party! I love the Chef Mickey's hats and aprons -- those turned out super cute!

They did! I bet their aprons are not like any other kids' around here.

Once again, I am going to have to steal your ideas. That was an AWESOME party. The Goofy Golf was so clever. We still have our Disney Countdown Dinners and I am running out of ideas.

Bella has really got her posing down now, hasn't she. I bet the next trip, she will have no hesitation with the characters.

I think my DH has officially been converted to Disney. I overheard my boys talking last weekend about where they wanted to go on our next vacation. They said they wanted to go on a cruise. I was in a panic. I don't swim very well and the thought of being stuck on a ship surrounded by water frightens me. Plus the fact that I would have to relax doesn't sound fun. Anyway, that night, I was telling my husband about the conversation. As soon as I said the boys wanted to go on a cruise, Lang said," Book a Disney Cruise!" I mean no hesitation whats so ever. I was shocked. Lang has wanted us to go on a cruise for the last 14 years and I kept putting it off. I figured he has been so good to go to Disney World so many times, he deserves his cruise. So, May 26, 2013, we will be on the Disney Dream for a 4 nights to the Bahamas.

You could theme Goofy Golf to anything the boys like. They might not care about a garden theme, but we thought it went well with a chef dinner.

Notice how Bella tilts her head in just about every picture now

I'm so happy for any new Disney trip - land or sea - that anyone plans! :dance3:

Looks like another fun party. Your creative team is to be commended.
.

Our creative team is probably truly the small children Jill and I work with all the time. ;) We just gather ideas from what we know they like.

Such Fun .... as always. The Goofy golf had me cracking up and moaning...

Living in DIStown would be so much fun. We could all pitch in and having those parties often.

Happy Sunday.

I thought the jokes were cute. You should have seen me looking up 'fruit and vegetable jokes for kids' on the internet.

What is a vampire's favorite fruit

Neck-tarines.

What vegetable do you keep in the basement?

Cellar-y.

Yeah, it's a fun time around here!

Another fun party!
I especially liked the Chef Mickey hats and aprons. In fact I think I'll be looking into iron on transfers and chef outfits

Ask Jill where she got them. She found them on the DISigns board, I imagine. They have some fun stuff over there.

Got back Friday night so lots to catch up on!!

First off Congratulations to Jill & family & Memom for your princess:
Love the name!! Little Sophie Kate will get lots of love from her adorable big sisters.

Love all the AK pics. To think I was just there & wish I were still there. I spied a T-shirt I bought. (White with Mickey peace sign on it). It was my first purchase while we were there.

Wow they have LOTS of trees there at the holidays!! I did not realize that they have that many. Hopefully someday I will get to go during the holidays but with my job it is not a good time to go.

Love the party pics. What great ideas you have!!

Memom I wish I knew you wanted that France Minnie. I would have gotten it for you while I was there.

Well I have about 1500 pics to go through on my camera. I went through our mail & newspapers & went food shopping. Trying to get caught up before work tomorrow. Back to the real world.

Sophie will get more love and attention than she will probably be able to handle! ;) It took Brooklynn nearly two years to get out of Bella's face. She wanted to be around her all the time!

A person could take at least fifty pictures just of trees back there in that area. I didn't even get to the Lion King tree, because we were still really far back in line when we decided to leave. You can look at Pat's pictures to see that tree.

I'm not in a hurry for France Minnie, since I am using a Toy Story theme at school next year, but I'm going to get one this summer so I'll have her when I do an Around the World theme again. Thanks for your kind offer. :goodvibes

It's no fun to get back to the tasks of real life. I will enjoy reliving your trip with you through pictures.

Your party looks like it was a ton of fun! That's such a cute idea! Hahaha I definitely appreciated the 'corny' jokes.

Working with kids 8 and under all the time, my brain stays at a childish level, so I think corny jokes are cute. :)

Chimpanzee was good. It wasn't as tear-jerking as I thought it might be. They did a good job of telling the story without focusing too much on the sad parts, and they panned away during most of the violence and just left the idea of the violence in your mind. Bella got a little upset when 'he lost him's mommy', so that made Jill and I tear up a little. Brooklynn seemed to do okay. She really liked the movie.

I will be at your TR in a few minutes. :thumbsup2

Congratulations on your new princess Jill! What a beautiful name you've chosen!

That Chef Mickey's party looks like it was a ton of fun! You guys are so creative! Looks like the kids had a blast! The golf course is such a great idea to keep them entertained!

After the official game was over, the kids kept going around playing the favorites holes again and again. After a while, it turned into them chasing each other with the spray bottle.

You guys have the coolest parties!!!! So creative

We just have fun acting silly with the kids, and they seem to enjoy it. :goodvibes

I saw on Facebook there was going to be a party this weekend. I love the pictures! You guys are so creative!

What did you do this weekend, Meg?
I'm gonna guess Goofy's Garden Golf was not on your itinerary. ;)

Cute party!!! I love the Chef Mickey hats and aprons!!! Too Cute!!

They all looked very cute in their hats and aprons. ::yes::

I'm not a baseball fan, as my boys never played baseball in school. I know that millions are, though, and I think it is great that families and friends are out enjoying something that they enjoy together. I hope you guys have a perfect weather day for your game! Happy Birthday to you and your mom!

I was going to put trip pictures up last night, but after playing all weekend, I had to get the house semi-straightened and do some school work. Back to pictures tonight. Have a Magical Monday, friends!

Your creativity never ceases to amaze me!!!! What a FUN party!!! And for no reason, just for kicks? LOVE it. :goodvibes

Congratulations on your new princess Jill!!!

How do you come up with your party ideas MeMom?? I think that school teachers have it in their blood.

The Chef Mickey party and golf was too cute! Loved the chef hats and aprons! I took Hannah and Madison to see Chimpanzee on Earth Day. We all really enjoyed the movie.

What did you do this weekend, Meg?
I'm gonna guess Goofy's Garden Golf was not on your itinerary. ;)

:rotfl: Nope! I wish, though; it would have been a lot more fun than working! Glad you had such a nice weekend with your girls!

What a great party!!! I love the themes you guys come up with! My kids are getting to the age where we don't do "friend" birthday parties much anymore (we stop at age 10), but that would be a fun idea to incorporate some Disney into everyday life - I did a "London" theme the other night - we ate fish and chips, I had a shandy, and we watched Alice in Wonderland.(the animated one we just got on DVD) Maybe next week we'll do a Paris theme and eat croissants and watch The Aristocats!

Bella really does know how to pose now! What a couple of cuties!! How exciting that there will be one more. I forget - when is Sophie expected to arrive? Will she be meeting/greeting people in October?

Another Awesome Party!!

MeMom-what is your countdown to the end of school. Getting to May must be a highlight for you!

Looks like it was a fun party!! I loved all the little Disney touches. I have those Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shakers too!

Your creativity never ceases to amaze me!!!! What a FUN party!!! And for no reason, just for kicks? LOVE it. :goodvibes

No real reason. Mostly just to get the families together. :)

I just LOVE the party!! What fun!! You gals are so creative!!

Have a great day!!

Glad you liked it.

Another Monday down. I think there are only three more school Mondays left until our summer break.

Congratulations on your new princess Jill!!!

How do you come up with your party ideas MeMom?? I think that school teachers have it in their blood.

I am not sure where the ideas come from. I just think something crazy, and in time, it turns into a game or party.

The Chef Mickey party and golf was too cute! Loved the chef hats and aprons! I took Hannah and Madison to see Chimpanzee on Earth Day. We all really enjoyed the movie.

We weren't able to see the movie during opening week. We just missed being able to contribute to the conservation fund, but I think it was a pretty small percentage per ticket, so I don't feel too bad about it.

:rotfl: Nope! I wish, though; it would have been a lot more fun than working! Glad you had such a nice weekend with your girls!

Maybe there will be a time in the future that you don't have to work weekends. :thumbsup2

Sophie will be here in early to mid-September. She'll be meeting and greeting (probably sleeping at the meetings and greetings) in October.

Another Awesome Party!!

MeMom-what is your countdown to the end of school. Getting to May must be a highlight for you!

May is a nice month. School ends, the weather is good, and this year, it means "We're going to Disney World next month!" :dance3:

Looks like it was a fun party!! I loved all the little Disney touches. I have those Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shakers too!

I didn't even get a picture of the Goofy's Garden Golf sign or the Mickey gnome that was in the backyard. :(

We claimed a little out of the way place behind the pool bar where no one was around to get some food and wait for Trent and Jarvis, who had called to say they were now on Disney property.

They showed up and got their food.

We decided to bring some of our leftover eggshells home, and we will be making some different kinds of ornaments with them this coming Christmas.

Cool torches, huh?

Congratulations on the new princess joining the family!!

What a fantastic party (as always)- I love that they moved around the World!!

Thank you for the AKL pictures. Only 69 days (that still sounds like a lot) until we are are enjoying those Zebra domes!
