All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Sending prayers and virtual hugs  to Cara and family. Thanks for sharing that with us. I'm sure it's a horribly difficult time.

Your Chef Mickey's party looks like such fun-and I'm sure the kids had a blast. I love the chef's hats and aprons!

The pictures from your wanderings at Kidani were beautiful. The craft the girls took part in looked really cool.

Sending hugs to Cara.
This must be such a difficult time for her family....

I really enjoyed the pics of the CM Party! You have the best ideas!!!

Lots of hugs and prayers to Cara!

Yeay for Trent and Jarvis arriving! I know everyone was excited to be back together again!

Giraffes, ostrich egg crafts, zebra domes? You know I am enjoying this last update.

My thoughts and prayers are being sent to Momof2TNboys and her family.
I'm so sorry you have lost your father. I wish you comfort and strength in this difficult time.
Take Care, :grouphug:

Memom & BrooklynnsMommy you have outdone yourselves again!
Your Chef Mickey party was awesome! :thumbsup2
What a cute idea and the chef hats and aprons look great!
I always enjoy the photo ops and the wall decorations...and the table spread looks yummy!
Luv all the brightly colored bowls, cups, trays and the pail with the cutlery.
You did an excellent job on the Goofy golf too!
I laughed at the "corny" jokes.
I agree with the other Disers that you are both so creative, never stop...I love seeing what you come up with for these different parties.
It was a successful day by the happy faces of all the kids. :goodvibes

Ahhh...AKL is so gorgeous! I don't think I've seen Kidani Village before. :)
Very cool craft with the egg shells!
It looks like the girls had fun with it.
I perfect way to spend some time at Disney.
Good to see Trent & Jarvis joined the group.
I'm sure you were glad he arrived there safely.
Can you believe I still havn't had Zebra Domes...I have to remedy that! :rotfl:

I was wondering if you had seen Chimpanzee. We enjoyed it too.

Thanks for the update on AoA. There will be lots of new things to see and eat there...can't wait! :woohoo:

All caught up. COngrats on another princess-very cute name. What are your June dates? I am looking at June 26 to July 2nd. We miss eachother in Oct by 1 day....

Wow, you guys have the most awesome parties!! I wish I was so creative! The girls are super lucky!

AKL is just great, including Kidani. I love how they just have activities like that for the little ones. It's a nice break from the parks while still keeping the kids entertained!

The girls don't have a chance of having a normal childhood. ;)

We have enjoyed seeking out some of the unique things Disney has to offer for little ones other than the rides and shows. The girls enjoy playground time, coloring pages offered at some places, pin trading, and crafts.

Wow, great party! I think you should be a party planner for sure. Then I could have you come here and help me with parties. I'm terrible at them! :rotfl2:

Who knows, that could be a retirement job. :)

I'm sure you host very nice parties. ::yes::

Oh, those pictures of Kidani, make me miss it so much! They are all lovely. :thumbsup2 to the Zebra Domes :) It's a shame I never got to check out Jambo House when I got the chance staying at Kidani, those Zebra Domes are just calling my name now. :goodvibes The Ostrich Eggshell craft looks really cool, they always have fun things going on over at Kidani. :teeth: And the Savannah looks beautiful as always!

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

I want to explore more of Kidani. Maybe I can get time for that this summer.

We enjoyed the party. I have been cleaning up all the 'stuff' - lots of odds and ends. I need a room for just our party stuff.

Sending hugs to Cara.

I was glad to have the guys there. I wish Drew could have come.

I don't go to AKL that I don't think of you, Jackie. :)

Funny that you noticed the colorful bowls and stuff. They were a dollar apiece at Walmart, and they matched my cute Mickey plates perfectly.

I hope you get a chance to visit Kidani. Resort-hopping is fun.

You better get yourself a zebra dome, girl, and send me a picture of AKL when you are there!

Hugs and prayers to Cara and her family!

Definitely thinking of Cara and her family. I can't imagine how difficult it must be.

Hugs & prayers to Cara and her family - so sorry for their loss.

So sorry for the very sad news. Sending prayers for you and your family.

So sorry for Cara's loss. Hugs to her and her family.

Hugs and prayers to Cara during this sad time.

I'm so sorry for your loss Cara. :(

Prayers for Cara and family.

June it is, then! We'll be there June 23rd. :thumbsup2 There are a couple of big DIS meets forming. What do you think about seeing Yehaa Bob with a group? I think it is the 27th.

With the guys in tow and everyone well-fed, it was time for another safari.

This time our guide's name was Terry, and he was very good.

I am the master of getting blurry okapi pictures. ;)

And if you want a picture that looks like a bird is about to peck a bald guy on the head,

IMG_7642.jpg

I am your photographer. ::yes::

IMG_7644.jpg

It's always neat to see a hippo up walking around.

See the giraffe up by the trees?

No animals - just an interesting passageway.

IMG_7664.jpg

Mingos - some in da wahta and some out.

IMG_7666.jpg

IMG_7667.jpg

A cheetah lounging around.

IMG_7672.jpg

A lion, not lounging around.

IMG_7673.jpg

Not only was he up, but he was roaring.

IMG_7675.jpg

IMG_7676.jpg

Sister was just hanging out, however.

IMG_7679.jpg

Both of them up for a second.

IMG_7683.jpg

Looks like Jarvis was happy in getting a picture of the lions in this 'half of Jarvis's head' shot.

IMG_7684.jpg

Trent and our driver.

IMG_7685.jpg

We thanked him for the good job he did.

More nice music.

IMG_7687.jpg

Do you know where I am standing now?

IMG_7689.jpg

What - you don't know ever rock and tree and flower in Disney World???

Maybe this will help a little more.

IMG_7688.jpg

Now ya know!

IMG_7690.jpg

One more quick sweep inside a shop, but no merchandise pictures this time. They are hard to come by when you have three men in a group. ;) Shopping is not so much their 'thang'. :)

IMG_7691.jpg

That was all of Animal Kingdom for that day. It was time to go back to the room and get ready for a special dinner with friends.

IMG_7692.jpg

Love, love, love the lion pics! I have never seen them up, much less roaring! Awesome!

There must be something about that Okapi. All my pictures of him have turned out blurry as well. :confused3

I love the pictures of the lion. We have never seen him up roaming around much less roaring.

Congrats on the new princess! I love the name. Are the girls excited?
You guys always throw the best parties! Can you please adopt me?:rotfl2:
I've been to Kidani, but never Jumbo. It's on my list for this summer. You know I'm loving the crafts. LOVE the pic of the lion. He's never awake when we're there. :goodvibes
