Ok, I will admit it. We have never ever been able to FIND Turtle Talk! And this is not for a lack of trying!!!! Seriously, where in The Seas is it? I'd love to check it out someday, even though it'll just be us without kids! It looks so cute!
The Seas gift shop really is the best, isn't it? I love it!
I'm not sure where those fun mugs came from either! Poly only had the standard pink, blue, and black too.
You know what??? I recalled that someone (didn't remember who) said they could not find Turtle Talk, so I took this picture specifically for that person. Now that I know it is you - here it is.
You can see it right at the bottom of the stairs.
I think you are just making a beeline for that gift shop, so you don't look around!
All caught up again!
I'm sad to see your Christmas/New Year's report come to an end but you surprised me with the bonus October report. I'm really enjoying seeing all of the fall decorations & merchandise. It gets me excited for my October girls trip.
As others have said, I hope you continue writing trip reports. I love watching the girls grow up Disney!
I hope you have a great time on your trip!!!
Christmas, Halloween, and coming up next, Fourth of July! We love the holidays in Disney World!
I also meant to say, I'm definitely not claustrophobic, either, but that tank is a little much for me.
I was wondering if your church camp was this week. I hope it's going well! And yayyyy for just FOUR days! I am also very excited to hear that Pop now has free wifi!
Camp is going well. I am trying to really get things in order at the end of each day so that I have very little to do on Friday night.
Pop having free wi-fi is going to be nice. I have read that people are saying it comes and goes a little, though.
Four days - woo hoo!!!
I was Facebooking with Jill & she said you're leaving in the evening of October 13th. Sadie & I will be there the night of the 12th so hopefully we can meet up!
We'll hook up so you can see Sophie and we can see Sadie.
This week you are going back-
Yes, we are! If I had thought about it, I could have put the letters DISNEY up in the camp kitchen on Sunday and pulled one down at the end of each day - my own countdown calendar of sorts.
I hope camp is going well! Pretty soon you will be in the Happiest Place on Earth!
I am cooking for others this week, and next week others will be cooking for me!
Oh my gosh! Only four days until you go back! I'll have to give you a premature goodbye on Thursday since I will not be home on the 23rd (NYC!!!), but I'm sure you will have a great time anyway
You have fun on your trip, too!

I look forward to reading about it.
Probably because I'd just read some of the Nemo section of this TR, but we just watched Finding Nemo this weekend. We decided that we all liked the Mine Mine Mine so much, we NEEDED to get something with that on it next trip! So we'll be exploring that shop too!
I hope you're having a good week at camp. Makes me wish I'd gone to camp as a kid, but I didn't. Hoping my kids find something like that we can send them to.
We've got lovely pink and yellow mugs - I use one just about every day - I bring coffee/tea or soda to work with me in it and it makes me smile! Of course, having a little Mickey sitting under my monitor doesn't hurt either! He's from a Happy Meal from years ago - wearing a little tuxedo jacket!
My classroom has many little Disney reminders to help me through my work days. I keep my pin board at school, and it's a great reminder of so many good times and good things.
Yay! for the free wi-fi. That will help us tremendously as my daughter will be doing her online virtual school while she is there. In fact, that should be her first week of school. So glad they have added that!
If I don't get back here before you leave, I hope you all have a most wonderful trip and I'm looking forward to the new trip report and hopefully pictures on FB while you are gone! Be safe and have fun!!!!
I have read that it is spotty, though, so just tell her to be aware of that. I will be able to give you a personal review of it next week.
Jill will let you travel with us through FB, for sure. I do love those phones that can do that, but mine is just a 'plain' phone that doesn't do fancy things.
Not only do your campers have great food but also AC!
Danielle is roughing it, no AC and an open air pavillion for Bible Study.
They put AC in several years ago, and it makes a lot of difference. It is too big of a place to keep things cool, but it definitely takes the edge off of the 90 degree heat outside.
I've done the open air pavilion in Florida at Weeki Wachee. Hot, hot, hot, but great memories of camp far overshadowed thinking of the heat.
Yay for Turtle talk! We're going to give it another shot in Oct, I'm thinking Everett is big enough now to really appreciate and enjoy it! Hopefully we won't have a re-do of our last disastrous experience!
I can't believe you are so close! I hope that you are enjoying camp, but I also hope that the rest of the week flies by!
I hope Everett likes Turtle Talk. If he does well, maybe you can get a pin commemorating the visit.
Hi Memom,
You are sooo close to your trip
I am just catching up from the weekend. Things have slowed down from the party, but now I have to start getting everything together for the beach the week of the 4th. We go to Hilton Head every year for the 4th. (not at DVC though- that is an impossible reservation to get!!!!)
I have been loving your quick updates - just a little fix to get us through until you get back
Never doubt your trip reports are great and you are well loved on the DIS
We would love to see Hilton Head and Vero DVC resorts. Have a great 4th with your family!
The DIS is the place to be to get a Disney fix when you need one.

Being able to put up FB pictures is really nice, too, because you get to travel along with others and so easily picture where they are, what they are hearing and seeing and tasting, etc. That's definitely a high-tech thing that I enjoy.
We are getting excited here too! Can't wait! I am sure you are all excited too! Looking forward to seeing you!
We would be excited if we had time to think about it. After I got home last night, I did get one suitcase completely finished, I think. I zipped it up and told myself it was done, anyway, so I felt some sense of accomplishment.
So, it looks like the last little bit of the October trip will come to you from my Pop Century room when we get down there in a few days. I just don't have time to finish it right now. There's only a part of the Epcot day and then departure day, so I will finish it when we get down there and I have more time to be on the computer. I can trade in an early morning walk to finish the rest of the pictures. Have a great day in DIStown, everybody!
