All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Starting the day with Soarin' is always a must! Best ride at Epcot. :)

I LOVE THAT SOARIN' MUG! Oh my goodness. (If you couldn't tell... I'm a fan of mugs.)

I do the same thing! I always mention people that I "know" who live in Georgia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania...and remember I have never actually met them. I love it, though!

me too!!! :thumbsup2

I love that Brooklynn told you she needed something with a long neck! That is SO cute! I absolutely love kids. At my preschool job today, one of the kids told me I should really have a raincoat (it was pretty gross weather today.) I said I had an umbrella and my hood, but he informed me again that I should really have a raincoat, and I should ask my mommy for one. :rotfl:

cute!! I like the long neck comment!!

I so want to be in Disney for the fall sometime; I'd love to do MNSSHP. The headless horseman is actually something I've YouTubed often...I LOVE horses and riding, and I think being the headless horseman would be the coolest thing ever!

I want to go in Oct. sometime too and go to MNSSHP!!! We went in Oct back in '96 and stayed off site, but we were relative newbies back then. I don't even know if they had the party back then. :rotfl2:

I love your TR's, eventhough I'm always behind!! Don't stop writing them!! Can't wait to hear about this trip!!! What are your plans? I've been so far behind that I've missed them. I'm caught up on the last 30 or so pages, but I only caught bits and pieces of the rest. Maybe while you guys are gone I'll skim the rest of the TR.

I couldn't get the color thing to work.....that's why my responses are in italics!!

Lots of great pics; for some reason I'm hungry all of a sudden.

You need to come and join us at camp this week, then. Right now, I have a full fridge/freezer, full upright freezer, food all over my den, cakes and brownies made and lined up on the kitchen table, and I already have a load in the camp freezer. We'll be pigging out on tacos, chicken casserole, spaghetti, burgers, hot dogs, baked potato & salad bar, waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and bacon for the next six days. :thumbsup2 There will be plenty to share!

We love the Goofy gummies...some how they are better than plain ole gummy bears.

True that!
That Goofy's bag does make a difference. :goodvibes

I watched Nemo this morning so I am even more excited to visit The Seas here soon. I also love that mug from Soarin...I think that will have to come home with me this trip.

Everything Pop does have a great selection. A few trips ago I was looking for a specific shirt and pin and ended up finding both of them there. It will be fun to check out AoA. I am hoping they might have some stuff geared toward animation/drawing for my little artist.

I managed to make it to the last day of school with kids. It was touch and go for a few days though! Now I have two workdays although I already have pretty much everything done. Such a waste of time. Tuesday afternoon we are off and stopping in Santee, South Carolina. So excited!

I was working on trip plans and everything today and noticed that we have a 7:00 ADR at Cape May on the 27th which I think is the Yeehaw Bob meet. So, we may be late. Anita and her gang have the same ressie as well, unless they changed theirs.

Did you end up booking Olivia's? We are having breakfast there on our last morning, the 29th before heading home.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

I don't think Bob start until 8. We'll check. We're eating at 4:30 in Epcot.

I didn't book Olivia's, because it seems like we would be able to get in for a breakfast is we decide to do that one day. Our agenda is starting to fill up, so I didn't want to commit, but I still would like to do it. I want to get pictures of both girls by the big sandpail, etc. where I got Brooklynn's picture when she was just a baby. Is there a particular day that is good for you for us to come and see the room? If it works, great, and if it doesn't, no big deal. Just sometime when you know you are going to have some pool time and down time, maybe.

It feels great to be finished with school and all workshops until the 20th of July. Unfortunately, the way things were set up, there was not one completely free month this whole year. :sad2:

I love starting a day with Soarin'! I especially loved in January that people who didn't care for Soarin' still got Fastpasses, so my mom and I got to use them and ride a few times!

We get Fastpasses and use Babyswaps, too. This is the one ride that they always let me go on both times. ;) Anything else in any park, I don't mind sitting out of at all, but Soarin' is my favorite, and I like to get two rides per trip, if possible. John doesn't care one way or the other about it, so he usually sits this one out with Bella. He'd rather do Mission:Space or Test Track. Test Track being down is going to change our Epcot touring plans a little.

I see they are bringing back more resort-specific merchandise at the DVC resorts, so hopefully Disney has learned the lesson that people like it and bring it back to all resorts!!!

I will bet they have lots of cool drawing things at AofA!!

I hope they do. I'd love to have a t-shirt from every resort.

We're excited about getting AoA pictures and seeing it for ourselves!

I really like all the pictures of ornaments. Someday I would like to have a Disney only tree. I bring home one ornament each time we go.

Soarin' and Nemo, great way to start a day at Epcot.

It is pretty much our routine to do those things first. It has worked well so far. With Test Track being down, we might spend a little more time in Innoventions this trip.

I bet your could have a different Disney tree in every room of them house, if you wanted! Just think of all the different themes you could use!

I LOVE THAT SOARIN' MUG! Oh my goodness. (If you couldn't tell... I'm a fan of mugs.)

I use mugs at school as pen and pencil holders. Drew uses the mugs I bring him for coffee. :)

Soarin' is my #1 ride in any park. :thumbsup2

The color thing wasn't working for me last night, either.

Yeah, you'll have to do an October trip and immerse yourself in the magic by staying on-site. :wizard: MNSSHP is worth going to! ::yes::

Have a beautiful Sunday, friends!

I haven't had much Dis time lately, so I have missed many updates.

I think I left off right about when Jill found out the sex of the baby. Another little girl:banana: How exciting. What a pretty name too:)

When I caught up on TR's I tend to work backwards to find out where I left off. Just wanted to say that your TR's are amazing and everyone who reads them knows that you are promoting your love for Disney. It is clear how much you love Disney and the time you spend with your family there.

I love seeing the girls enjoy the parks and have gotten many ideas of things to do or see with my own DD from your reports. I also love the shopping pictures.

Good deal! :thumbsup2

I enjoy taking the merchandise pictures and doing some virtual shopping through them when it's time to put them on the reports. :goodvibes

We spent quite a bit of time walking around the aquarium and exhibits. Both girls really enjoyed this.

Don't know if you can tell - that is a manatee among all the light reflections and floating lettuce.

I love meandering around the Seas at Epcot. It really does seem like every time we go there, we find some other whole new thing we didn't see before!

Leave it to a Mom to notice the outfit did not match what she put in the bag.

Loving all the Epcot pics this morning!:goodvibes

I'm not claustrophobic, but that diver tube would freak me out, too!

That "that sinking feeling" billboard amazed me once I thought about it, too. Wow!

Glad it's not just me who's having trouble with the color/font etc. Nothing with a drop down menu is working for me.

That Sinking Feeling -
Guess I'm a pool ball, not a tennis ball.

Glad it's not just me who's having trouble with the color/font etc. Nothing with a drop down menu is working for me.

Phew, it's not just me or my laptop! I'm trading up my five year old laptop and my brother is inheriting it...I was so concerned it was being crazy!

Visiting the sea at EPCOT is a great way to start a Sunday morning. Thanks for the trip under the sea.:goodvibes

You are welcome. Updates will be sporadic this week.

I love meandering around the Seas at Epcot. It really does seem like every time we go there, we find some other whole new thing we didn't see before!

And it is the same with World Showcase - always something 'new'.

I knew she would say something about the outfit, so I didn't send a picture until we were already in the park and it was too late to change it. :rolleyes1

I can hardly glance at the picture, but I knew it would be something a lot of people might like to see.

I'm a bowling ball, probably!

I could not get color or size on anything earlier.

Let me give it a try now.

Nope, still the same size and same color.

Oh well, it'll be fixed in time, and we'll be happy to have it back so that we can talk to each other loudly and in color! :thumbsup2

Once again, another disappearing act for me... sorry about that MeMom! I promise this will be the last time for awhile that I don't comment. I'm on VACATION! WOOT! Well, minus all the AP Biology work I have to do :P

Anyways... love your pictures of the Seas (with Nemo and Friends)! So cool you got to see the manatees, last time I was there we missed them :( And I can never seem to find the Diver Lock Out Tank Demonstration Whatchamacallits, gotta make note to see that ::yes::

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Love the close up pictures of the fish!:thumbsup2

I did not know you could have a certificate email to you, I will have to check that out.

I dropped Danielle off at Church camp today. We don't pick her up until early Saturday morning. The only communication will be letters. I'm going to drop off a care package tomorrow for her. She likes getting it, but they make them sing for their mail. I hope she gets as good of food as your campers will be getting.

My drop down menu works now! So does my color! Glad to be able to talk loudly and in color again :rotfl:

You just go too fast for me, MeMom! I had missed three updates just in this weekend. The way you're speeding along, one would think you have somewhere to go.....;)

Enjoyed my evening at MK, and my morning at EP with you and Brooklynn! :)

Mine is working now!!!

Yay! :cheer2:

We all take our turns disappearing for various real life reasons. I will be 'disappeared' most of this week - just checking in here and there. I need to finish this October trip before I close the 'puter down on Friday before we leave.

Have a fun vacation! :cool1:

I know she will have a blast! Great friendships and memories are made at camp. :goodvibes

At dinner last night, I overheard one of the campers say, "I love camp food!" I know he wasn't saying it for my benefit, either, because he had already passed my section of the serving line. ;) I think he was mostly happy that he could have as much food as he wanted. His plate was already full of mini corndogs, a chicken sandwich, cocktail weiners, and pasta salad, and he was at the time choosing between which of the five kinds of chips he wanted to pile on top of that plate!

My drop down menu works now! So does my color! Glad to be able to talk loudly and in color again :rotfl:

I can't talk loudly now, because it is 4 a.m. I will come back and talk loudly later. As you can see, I can still talk in color early in the morning. :upsidedow

Trying to finish this October mini-report before Friday. :thumbsup2

I may have already said - about five times yesterday - that I was making things simple at camp on the last day so we can get on out of there as quickly as possible Friday night. ::yes:: I will be more than ready for some Disney fun at the end of this week. Camp is fun, no doubt, and I love doing it, but it is also a lot of work!

Pop has had pink, blue, yellow, and black on our trips. What colors have you seen at your resort?

That's it for now. Gotta go fix breakfast. More this evening.

I love that gift shop also. I have the Mine Mine Mine mug & I use it all the time!!

You have pretty green & pink lids for those mugs.:)
