Here we are only weeks away from our March 13th sailing date and STILL NO PAPERS. I called up Disney Cruiseline to find out what was going on. Turns out their records show we are totally paid in full, except for 20 cents. LOL, where this extra twenty cents came from is beyond me. Finally with the help of a supervisor, obviously skilled in higher math, they were able to clear it and now have my paperwork on the way. I'm wondering if I'll get one less cherry tomato on my salad now to make up for that 20 cents they lost out on.

Well, we must be big spenders here ;) I got an invoice for our 5/8/04 due -- after I paid it off in January. Turns out between our last invoice and the time I paid, port charges had been increased. So, we paid our $6.98.

FINALLY, we are paid in full! LOL.

Aren't you glad you called?

Be sure to make sure you are paid in full. I was checking our Resv. and there was a balance due of 5.26. I called DCL and they said your papers won't be printed until it's paid off. Be sure to check your balance right away.:D

If you use a TA (we use Dreams) would they let you know if this happens? We are (I think) paid in full for our September AND our December cruise for this year. But if there is an extra charge, would DU let me know about it so we get our papers on time?

That reminds me of what happened to us on our first cruise. The last night, we got a bill slipped under the door and a note telling us to come to Guest Services immediately to settle our bill becuase the credit card had refused the charge. Naturally, this puts us in a semi-panic as to why Amex is refusing the charge, so we start perusing the bill. Turns out, they'd put through a charge the day earlier to Amex for $200 and it cleared with no problems. However, when they went to charge the remainder that night, Amex refused the charge because it was 93 cents! I got to go stand in line at Guest Services and hand them 93 cents in change. Believe me, I did suggest that they make a change to their future charging processes rather than throw us into a panic and make us wait in line. ;)

I can't believe: for $ 0.20000000000000000, they are holding everything and no one did even know!

I am going on March 14 and I have not received my docs yet. I guess I may be owing them a few cents, or, a quarter of a quarter of one cent.

Well first, 20 cents is 20 cents and the computer considers it not paid... ahh... the world we live in now...

That however cause me to think about my paid ressies... one day after I paid in full I got an e-mail from DU about the increase in port cost starting of course on the day we sail..., a few dollar I belive. I contacted DU and was told by DU that they took care of it.

I guess I should confim with DCL that i am paid in full....

Dreams did send out an email a few weeks ago announcing that the port charges were increased on the Western route and the final total would be increased. You should probably look up your resi online or call an agent to get the amount cleared up so that your docs wont be held up later on.

I checked mine and they are still paid in full. We are going on the Eastern Cruise, so that one wasn't effected by the increase (yet anyway).
