For the 10/18-10/26. Has anyone had any luck getting one on the spot that maybe someone has cancelled? Called Kenny and he of course is booked too. This was a last minute thing we decided to add on which is why we waited so long. Definitely learned my lesson.
 
1) OOPS.
2) Just before Halloween is a popular time at The Fort.
3) I hope someone cancels for you.

Yeah, but there's a difference between not happy and harmed... I'm not happy that I have 3 weeks to wait before I get to the Fort, but it won't harm me! (I hope....)

Having trouble reaching Kenny. I've been trying to confirm my dates and maybe add one day earlier. We have been reserved for a few months but they never got my CC number. Should I not worry about it ? I know he is not always prompt on answering but he usually calls in a day or two. I have called and sent email.

Well.....it's good to know that Kenny is awesome, but still lacks in the communication department. :rotfl: Leave him a message and tell him you want to add a day. Then call him every other day until you get confirmation. The few times we used him in between our selling and buying a golf cart, I was very frustrated when he didn't call me back. He had everything handled.
 
Yes I'm confident I have a reservation just unsure about the extra day. He needs some help on the reservation side of his business.
 
Kenny is very overloaded I think. He really needs to get more help / upgrade his system, but I am not sure he can afford to (with his low prices). We just rented 2 carts from him for 12 days (ending last week), and I have say it was the worst (only real bad) experience we have had with him ever (with 6+rentals). First he told me the wrong place for one of the carts, and had to locate it and call me back (not a real big deal). He then told me one of the carts had a broken window (it was minor) but not to worry because he had it documented and would be out to fix it in a couple days. He never did show up to fix it, but like I said it was small, so no big deal. (As a side note, both carts looked fairly worn with balding front tires, etc). The real problem was after we left the carts, he called about an hour later and accused my wife (I was driving) of breaking the window and a headlight! He didn't relent until my wife told him we had photos of the carts and reminded him of the broken window when we picked up the carts. I really think all of this is because he is overwhelmed. Like I said we have used Kenny many times and he has always been great, but he is very hard to get in touch with / very busy.
 
This is not helping my confidence level. I was aware Kenny was not the best at returning calls but had no idea his carts were worn out and busted. He must really be stressed or overwhelmed if he accused you of breaking something he already told you about. I guess we better inspect and document any problems with his cart. He really needs to be careful or his reputation will suffer greatly.
 
Sorry about hurting your confidence level. Like I said it was the first bad experience we have had with Kenny after many rentals. I don't want to leave the impression that the carts are completely worn out, just that they need some TLC. I found myself being envious of the Disney carts. I do think he really needs help running his business though. He should not have accused us of breaking something he already told us he documented. I will have to say he has lost our business. My wife said no more after the phone call.
 
Finally heard back from Kenny. He says I'm good on my original reservation request but probably out of luck adding a day. Which I understand is my fault for not getting my days right in the first place.We had originally requested Sunday(10-27) to Sunday (11-3) and wanted to change it to Saturday to Saturday. Hopefully we are good.
