Our next DVC trip is all booked! Flights secured last wekend, last piece of the DVC jigsaw booked today!

From the original discussions of just me and DH in a studio, we are now eating up points for both DDs plus a boyfriend to come too I am really looking forward to this trip as it will tick a few boxes apart from the obvious we're-going-to Florida one

We're only having a week and DH, eldest DD and I are spending the middle 3 nights at Vero, while youngest DD and boyfriend stay in Orlando to exhaust their appetite for all the big rides that the rest of us don't want to do ! I didn't think youngest DD would want to come on holiday with us again, so I'm really looking forward to another family trip (+one!). Eldest DD is looking forward to having some company of her generation too .

We're able to provide all the accommodation through DVC, but wouldn't have been so keen to splurge on hotels for us all.

Itinerary for October 2008:
2 nights for all of us in VWL
3 nights for me, DH and DD1 in VB, with DD2 and her BF in SSR
2 nights for all of us in OKW

Sounds lovely Hilary Good to have 'yet one more' family holiday (yes, even when you're footing most of the bill ).

We've done the trip for a week a few times when I was tied to school half terms and always enjoyed them

Sounds a great trip, Hilary! I thought my 'big' kids would have stopped hoidaying with us a l-o-n-g time ago but seems like everyone's up for another WDW adventure next summer - my DD will be 26 and my DS 23!!! Long may it continue...

I'm already stressing over when to get the empty box delivered Should we get it when we first arrive and then cart it around with us, filling it as we go, or should we gather things for it in something else and then arrange for the box to meet up with us on just the final leg of the trip? At the moment, I think I'll leave it until the final couple of days ... decisions, decisions

If we're not footing the bill for the family to be on holiday with us, I'm sure we'd end up footing the bill for them somewhere else, one way or another!

Eldest DD is 23 and is the keener of the two to come with us, but doesn't relish the idea of being seen as the 'single, grown-up child on holiday with parents', which I can understand. Youngest DD is 19 and very independent (well, apart from financially, LOL!) and has wanted to do her own thing for a while. She says going on the big rides on her own has limited appeal (I can also understand this), hence the addition of the boyfriend on this trip Having little sister along makes it better for eldest DD, too

Me too, me too - stressing that is

My trip at the end of next month starts at BWV, then to VB ending at OKW. Like you, I'm (currently!) thinking I'll leave it until the OKW bit before taking delivery of a new shiny purple box

PS If I attempted to have this discussion with DH he would think I'd totally 'lost it' but would smile (sympathetically ???) nonetheless!
