I have booked the first portion of my trip for 2014. And I am so excited now.

Just booked Art of Animation for 3 nights, then will switch to a DVC villa for 7 nights then Caribbean Beach for 3 nights. All this takes place from the 29th of november.

Who else is planning to be around there at that time?

Me, hopefully! It feels so far away but also like I'm rushing to lock everything in, but if all goes to plan 29 Nov to 1 Dec at Universal and then 2 to 12 December at WDW.

And if the above is just the first part of your trip, what else are you doing? :)

at this stage, I have only planned for a day at universal, maybe a day at sea world, or a morning at least lol.

I just wanted to start booking hotels now so I can plan the rest :D

I will be there! Flying down on 11/29 for one night, then I am going on the podcast cruise from the 30th to the 7th, then at BWV until the 12th! I can't wait! :)

Only a day? You're not a Harry Potter fan? :)

In a few days I will be booking DW's annual birthday weekend at OKW.
We have been every year since '93 for this get away.
We get to stop the shopping, decorating, planning, and wrapping gifts to spend time away at our 2nd home.

Oh yeah I have been planning Disney trips including cruises for 2014 since the beginning of 2013. I will be at WDW for a week for the Marathon Weekend next week staying at BeachClub. I will then be at staying at Villas at Grand California for the Tinkerbell Race Weekend. Other races are a potential maybe during 2014 but I am confirmed for a 14-night Transatlantic Disney Cruise in September. Finally since I live only 30-minutes away from Disneyland and Disney California I will definitely do numerous day trips.

Oh i am a fan. But the current part only takes me like 20 mins to get through, well 30 with a frozen butterbeer lol. As i travel on my own i take advantage of single rider lines where possible.

I dont know how much time I will spend at the resort, but last year (hehe) i was there from 9am til 9pm, but that because i had a dinner reservation for their water show, otherwise i would have been gone by 1pm

The podcast cruise is the 7 day Western Caribbean itinerary with the members of the Dis podcast crew. There will be special events & a party for Pete's 50th birthday. Should be pretty fun!!

I am going to try for the BWV when I get back from the cruise, but I will take anything I can get, haha. :goodvibes

ah, i was thinking it would be that. sounds fun.

i have been thinking and i might swap from boardwalk to saratoga springs.. for something different

I'm hoping to go the first week of December again.

Last year I made the mistake of reserving my package at POFQ first and then booking my flights to match my reservation, this year I plan on finding cheap flights first and then booking POFQ around those flights. In 2013 I went from Sun to Sat (6 nights) and ended up paying a premium for flights because I flew on weekends. I was looking after I booked and had I gone Tue to Wed (8 nights) I could have saved enough on airfare to pay for 2 extra nights at POFQ.

I'm planning monthly trips to DL though, I'll be buying an AP in 2 weeks! :cool1:

thankfully flying from australia to america, the extra bit to orlando is only a few hundred and as long as its not school holidays flights are pretty reasonable.

make sure you buy the premiere pass, that does both disneyland and disneyworld. As i will be stopping by Disneyland on the way out of america thats what I am buying :D

Looking at booking a trip in the fall, haven't completely decided on dates yet so I may be there the first week of December. Went to F&W last year so thinking the Christmas decorations would be nice to see.

yeah that was why i selected decemeber. i wanted to see it at christmas.
well i have also had some dates change, so i now have 14 days at wdw, then a disney cruise and then onto disneyland for a bit.

I'm hoping to go the first week of December again. I loved the Christmas decorations, it wasn't very crowded, the Candlelight processional was amazing, and the weather was beautiful.

Never been to Disneyland but that sounds like a dream vacation!

Yeah, Apart from the cruise its my yearly trip though.

Last year i made the mistake of doing disneyland first, so leaving the usa, meant a 6am wake up and then 23 hours of being awake until i got to sleep on the plane out of the country.
