I called just now to get a dining reservation for chef mickey's for our stay (November 3 - 10)and they are either fully booked or nothing open until 9 pm! We are all so bummed!!

Should I try again in a couple days to see if something is open or am I just going to have to find another place? The kids LOVE the buffet there.....

It doesn't hurt to keep trying. However, I would seriously consider taking that 9pm reservation, if that's the only thing left and you and your kids like Chef Mickey's so much. Unless you book several months out, it can be extremely difficult to get a table for Chef Mickeys.

If you can't get a table for Chef Mickey's (or 9pm is too late) here are some other character meals that I would recommend.
1. Crystal Palace-MK (Winnie the Pooh & friends) (This one has the best buffet)
2. Liberty Tree Tavern-MK (Chip, Dale, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto)
3. Garden Grill-EPCOT (Chip, Dale, Mickey, Pluto)

I would call everyday, doesn't hurt. everyone makes ADRs and cancels them for reasons. I would try everyday and good luck, I hope you get what you want.

what is liberty tree tavern like? The kids mostly like the buffet style so they can pick what they want. I think that was the highlight of chef mickeys

Definaltey keep calling. I have been calling twice a day to try and change were we eat on Friday Sept 26 before MNSSHP. I got it today we have 2:05 lunch at Chef Mickeys! Just keep calling

Keep trying. Lots of people cancel their packages at about the 45 day out mark (when the balance is due) and all of their ADRs will cancel automatically.

I gave this advice to some friends a few months ago who were trying to book LTT on a MNSSHP night and they got it!

Liberty Tree Tavern is kinda like thanksgiving dinner with character interaction, we love it but some think the food is too tv dinner like, its sponsored by Stauffers so has mac and cheese,potatoes,turkey,green beans, fruit cobbler, all served family style. The characters are schedualed to LEAVE very soon so we made ADRs for Nov to enjoy it one last time. Try it!! Characters are all in old tyme costumes. cute.

Keep trying but book something else just in case. If you do end up getting in to CM, cancel your other ADR.

My DD loves lady and the tramp and we were also considering Tony's at MK....but I was reading on the other thread that it's not that good.....any comments on that one? Sorry I'm so undecided on these ....thanks for all your input!!!!

Not meaning to be a party pooper but CM usually stays booked once it is. The exception to this are last minute cancellations. Not saying you shouldn't keep trying... just wanted you to know that this one usually doesn't see a lot of cancellations. Definately have a back up even if it is the 9 PM ADR. (Just have a nap that day.) But for sure call every day while you are in WDW. You are most likely to see a cancellation then. Good Luck!

We got a 9:10 pm Chef Mickey's for Decemeber. Of course I was looking for something between like 4 and 8. But looking at the bright side, MK closes at 8 pm that night and dinner will follow, this was we do not waste any park time eating. But you know your kids, mine are 5 & 2, and will simply nap in the stroller throughout the day if they get tired. I would take the 9pm or at least get an adr somewhere else, but I would keep calling to check, you never know when some pixie dust may come your way. Mary
