Don't you just want to puke hearing all these IPhones users talking about Dis app's this, Dis app's that! Oh I cant wait to try it, it's so awesome etc etc.

All kidding aside.. If ATT made a phone that would actually make good calls in NJ then maybe I would think about taking the I-Plunge.
Even people that I talk too say it a awesome gadget but stinks as a phone.

I love my BB. Anyone else care to comment. I heard Friday afternoon's were vent time before happy hour.....

Yeah, my impression of the iPhone is that its an iPod Touch that you can talk on. (I know it happened the other way around, but thats my impression) Apple has done some nice things with the iPhone and they've certainly been geniuses in marketing it, but, for me, I'll stick with the BlackBerry (8900).

If nothing else, the presence of the iPhone is keeping pressure on the other manufacturers to keep their innovation going.

I had a Blackberry and I thought it was the best phone ever until I got my iPhone. I hardly ever use my BB now. My cell reception is great with the iPhone. I love my apps too.

I've had my BB Curve for about 3 months now. I LOVE IT!!! Its the best cell phone I've ever had! I have an iTouch, but I would never part with my BB!

psst... there's a rumor that verizon may be getting the iphone (i refuse to switch to att either). not the newest one on the market, att will only have that, but one of the older models.

I love my BB Storm, and while I am semi-jealous of the iPhone and their apps, I am happy to have a good phone with useful apps. I have an iTouch that I can play with at home on my wifi, and I have my BB for when I'm out and about. I can't imagine being without a smartphone, and I am looking forward to the iPhone coming to Verizon. AT&T coverage in my area stinks.

Just an FYI if you weren't already aware, RIM released an upgrade to the blackberry messenger this week. BBM 5.0 is available through the blackberry appworld site. The new messenger allows for group chats. There is a disney group "all things disney" that has been started. The barcode can be found on the crackberry.com site.

No clue what the problem is for those you've talked to, we all have iPhones (myself, DH and DS10) and they work fine as a phone. We've never had an issue. Can't imagine life without it!!!

LOVE all the apps, especially the Disney ones, used the WDW Dining app constantly on our trip last week!

Oh and we're in NJ.

I'm finally going to be getting a blackberry and people keep telling me that i should get an iphone but i wont for one reason...

I hate Apple products. Ever thing ive had from them has been terrible so i just dont giev them my business anymore.

Also, i dont need the apps. All i really need is email access, calendar (keeping track of homework and weekly drs. appts) and the address book. I will love having wireless on my phone though especially since i spend sooo much time in waiting rooms.

Question about BB....I am looking at the Blackberry Curve 8330...it seems to have everythign that i need and with a 2 year contract and online discount it's only $49.99. How is the curve 8330? If I can get a BB for $49.99 i would be in heaven!!!

My husband and I have iPhones and we've never had a problem with the phone/AT&T. My husband has a blackberry that he has to have for work but he would much rather use the iPhone to the bb.

I have the 8330. I love it! It's not the newest BB, but it does everything you'll need. Except have a lightsaber. That's the real reason I want an iphone. I want a lightsaber.

The straw that broke the camels back was when I dropped nearly every call I made one day with AT&T while I was at home. I started asking around the neighborhood and found out that most folks who had ATT had the same problem and those that had Verizon didn't.

Same here..... we have Verizon as the coverage of other services in our area stinks. that the IPhone comes to Verizon!

I love my Blackberry; recently was able to upgrade to the 8900 and it's so slim and light, and still does all the cool stuff I want it to do. Aaaand it has the wonderful keyboard

I don't think I'd get a "touch" phone; hubby has one and in the few times I've had to use it I can say that I'd probably hate it. That's just me, tho.
