Great pictures, and as soon as I saw the first one, I thought "That bird looks familiar" - got some pictures of him myself on Monday at Woodland Park Zoo - love that place! Now, if I could only figure out how to post pictures, I'd show you the one I took. :goodvibes

I took this @ AK last earlier this year.

This one is at the Honolulu Aquarium last month. You will have to look past the reflections, I haven't found the time to clean up my trip pictures yet. It's a Leafy Sea Dragon.

I thought I was going to have to explain the birds & bees to 6yo dd when we saw the peacock!! He had his eye on a little lady and starting shaking his tail feathers!! DD did NOT like him!:rotfl:

I crossed paths with this little family during a walk in the local park. I couldn't believe my luck when they all jumped in and swam away in a perfect row!

little bit of catchup.. various ages and quality and cameras... none edited/cropped in any way (that i'm aware of).. the frog one was just shot at POFQ, completely in the dark (we only knew he was there because he was croaking and there was some slight discoloration on the fountain)

Ok...

how do I post the pictures? I tried, but I get the following error:

Could not find phrase 'error_postcount_too_low_post_links'.

I have some photos out on photobucket.com.

Thanks for the help!!

you have to have more posts to post photos so post a bunch of hellos. comments etc.. ( think it's ten posts)

ok...

Easy fix... I hope.... So... when is enough?

I just purchased my first digital camera, so I was kinda excited that I had a couple of pictures that I could post.

We purchased the Canon A630. I really wanted the S3, but the finances just were not there... And we got an excellant deal (under $200.00) on the A630.

Here is a picture of a jellyfish I took in Boston Harbor this afternoon. If you're curious, there are hundreds (probably thousands) of these that can been seen all over the harbor during the spring and summer:

And I know this probably doesn't count, but its an urban frog. These sculptures were all over the edge of the stairs outside a 20 story building.

I posted these on the CB but, for those of you who don't hang out over there, here's what I saw about a mile from here on Thursday evening.

One of my favorite birds, a sandhill crane.

There were at least 15 of them walking around. I was able to get to within 6 feet of several of the birds.

And a grasshopper on steroids...

Southeastern Lubber Grasshopper. This one was nearly 4 inches long. :scared1:
