How's everybody doing?

Now that the trip is almost here I find I don't have much to do to get ready which I guess is a good and bad thing. Good because it means less stress, bad because having stuff to plan makes the time go by faster.

I have a minor change in plans. On the 16th, our arrival day, the plan was to hang out at Downtown Disney and have a 7pm dinner at T-Rex. We have decided to go to the MK that night instead for the Dole Whip/Spectro meet so I am going to try and make an earlier ressie for T-Rex perhaps around 3/4 in the afternoon or maybe we will just chance going as walk-ups since we will be there at an off-time. We'll do a little of shopping and then head over to MK for the evening. I really like the idea of starting our vacation with Spectro and Wishes. That is what we did in 2007 and I loved it, nothing like a magical start to a vacation.

I also had pizza this week-thin crust so hopefully not so bad-it was yummy! We also changed our 16th plans to do the meet. We will probably just do counter service at MK. I am excited to see the parade and Wishes. I am sure my girls will love it. Look forward to meeting you and your mom!!

That sounds like a fun way to start your vacation, seeing Spectro and Wishes. We are arriving in the early evening now so I won't be able to attend . tehn again We only have 5 days left on our hoppers so would be impossible anyway. It sounds like my kind of Dis meet though, my favorite nighttime shows and a dole whip. I agree it's kind of boring once you have it all planned.

I love thin crust pizza, much more than the thick crusts.

I was planning Spectro my first night all along and had decided to have my first Dole Whip watching it !! or maybe waiting to watch it !!mentioned this to Jason and VOILA the Dole WhipMeet was set!!! I have 5 pm ressies at Raglan Road so will have plenty of time! Although I m now thinking of switching to CP and do Raglan another night!! Hmmmm I think I smell some more plans a brewing!!

Not really, we get in around noon, spend a few hours at Downtown Disney eating and browsing the stores and probably get to MK around 6-7ish. Most likely won't go on any rides just hang out until the meet.

I like me some thin crust pizza too!!! Our 2 most popular pizza places, started with thin crust only a long time ago. The 2 guys were partners of Pizza King. Then they split and now one chain is Arni's. They load on the toppings!!! It's wonderful.

Lessa I am sooo glad you are coming on the 16th !!!I am torn between gettin a Whip or a float What do yu think???? I also am thinking of changing my RR ressie to CP and do RR another night !!! YES more planning !!!!

I miss this super yummy pizza place that we went to in Virginia Beach. Sadly it went out of business after only a few months due to marital problems between the two owners (husband and wife) but boy was that some good pizza, thin crust too!

Sorry Rosie I have no advice on the whip/float as I have only had the whip.

Hi Lessa! I love your new plan. I"m considering it for my family but haven't settled on it just yet. We have ressies for 1900 Park Fare at 5:45 so we could probably make it in plenty of time. I'm a bit worried that the kids will be wore out by that time. We will be leaving for the airport around 5am that day. I'll think about it some more and let you know...

Its coming up soon! These plans are just awesome! I can't get Kevin to go on a cruise at all, he doesn't like water. So maybe within the next 5 years Nova and I will do a solo cruise too. No guys

I love Wishes! I have a video of it on my computer that I will watch when I need something to lift my mood, works every time.

We got you beat, we are leaving the house at around 3am that morning. It is a 2 hour drive to Syracuse with a border crossing so we like to give a little extra time in case they give us a hard time at the border. So we will probably be pretty tuckered out but then again remembering the last two trips we did the same thing and I was wide awake the whole day and late into the night. It must be the Disney excitement that keeps me awake. Hope you are able to make it!

I don't think there is any danger of that happening. If we are too tired we will have to skip the meet. I think this will be the only day that we use the bus to get to the park though. Arriving at MK in the afternoon/evening we would probably be stuck parking really far away so it is probably easier to take the bus. Who knows though, I think it will be a fly by the seat of our pants type of day.

Just paid off the WDW portion of our trip. Everything is all paid off now. All we have to worry about when we get there will be the rental car and our food for the first week.
