Going back a few posts to CC......soooo beautiful! I just loved it there and tried to stay behind but alas here I am! We had such a fun day there and really did a lot....we actually rode bikes which was really not the greatest of ideas in the 150 degree heat! The water is just amazing!!
Love your loot and the pin for your son....awwww that is just so cute!!!
I really, really, really want to go on another cruise!!! I am going to have to do something quick as my trip is coming up soon and I can't be tickerless after that!!

Hilton Head and souvenirs -- two of my favorite things!!! The resort at Hilton Head is just too cute! I love the idea of "summer camp." Was there a lot of parking at the beach house? Just wondering how crowded that gets in the middle of summer. Did you happen to browse through the gift shop there -- were there a lot of Disney Hilton Head specific souvenirs by any chance? Was it a long walk from the main building to the swimming pool?

Cute souvenirs from the cruise! I love the two t-shirts you bought for the boys -- they will be adorable in them. I do need to see that magnet though.

As far as a February cruise, we have a goofy rule in our county that you cannot take personal days before or after a holiday. Makes planning a vacation so difficult during the school year. We would have to do the three-day cruise if we did go that route.

Wow. I was swapping out my closet for spring stuff, putting winter in the back today (and need to be able to find my work clothes again lol) and realized how WHITE I am right now.

I want tan lines!

I was happy to say the least! I wear sun screen, but I still soak it up!

This week we have been given 70 degree weather -- pretty amazing stuff! Especially after the terrible snow! (well I can't call it terrible, it did get me to Disney again!)

HH looks really nice! I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting it to be so rustic - I like it though, sounds like the perfect way to break up that long drive home

I didn't know what to expect either, but it grows on you. I bet it is really a fun place in the summer. I like the pins, too, and the boys liked their shirts!

I did not know HH had a pool at the beach house. We had roamed around the resort once, but not down to the beach. I hope we get there someday... but summer will be tough!

Yes! One at the resort and one at the beach house. Makes it for those who don't want to sit in the sand I guess!! I think they are small, so because it is small they book quickly. We thought to go there on the way home vs. Vero (this summer) but it was totally booked.

Thanks for posting a picture of the conch cooler cups! I've been wondering what those things came in.

They came in plastic conches, actually, back on our first trip!!! But these I like too.... I like the "traditional" cup better than the coconuts, but the boys like them!!!

I just wanted you to know that I finally had a chance to sit down and read through your TR!! WOW--it looks like a fabulous cruise--definitely on my short list of Disney things I want to do!!

YES, I know I really really really want to go back too!!! It was a fab place to relax! Well, THERE you go!! Sounds like a plan to me!!! Who wants to be tickerless??!!!

We didn't ride the bikes but I could see myself doing that on the next trip, when we have two days there.

Yes, DS4 was very happy with the starfish pin. He loves that starfish!

It was a pretty place to be sure, and I am sure much more goes on during the season. There was a parking lot, yes, but I think most people take the shuttle or bike over. It wasn't far, you could walk too. I think most people hit the beach. I would be curious to know how crowded it gets too....

The gift shop is really quite small! It did have shirts and a few things (mugs, etc.) with the HH logo -- it is cute, with a dog... (shadow! )
That photo of the boardwalk was the distance from the main building (where the studios are) to the main area for the pool, dining area, game room, etc... Totally manageable and a nice stroll.

UGH! Yes, I see a lot of areas must have this restriction -- BUMMER! BUT, if you can squeeze that Thursday/Friday, try to! I would tell you it is definitely worth it, and I suspect you would be able to get a good deal....

Happy Start to Your Spring Break!!! What fun things do you have planned for the week?

THANK YOU CP!!! Well, I put my DH on an airplane yesterday, and picked up my mother from the airport as well! She is here for the week while DH is taking students on a trip (I didn't go this time -- I wanted to use the $ for a landscaping project) And since it was a place we didn't want to take our kids quite yet -- Egypt -- I just made the decision to stay. I am going to Scotland this summer, so I will get my abroad trip in. My mom is here, and we are going to just do some house projects, and go to some local things -- the BMore Aquarium, and to the "Bunny Farm" -- which is a local farm's pumpkin patch festival gone "spring" with an Easter theme.. You know, anything to bring a crowd!!! But it is fun.... farm animals, egg hunts, hay rides and mazes, and food. But we are going next weekend since it is supposed to rain this week for a few days, then back to upper 60s and low 70s for the holiday. I have to work a few days this week (I am a 12 mos employee) which is fine, because it is very loose hours, and I can still sleep in!!! Anyhow, we are going to BAKE cookies too... for teachers and friends, since we chose to go to Disney instead of baking Valentine's day cookies!! I put together Easter baskets, we will do all that. My DH comes home on Easter sunday, so we will have a few days before work begins again. School back in session on Wednesday the 7th.

Do you have the same holiday time off, too?
