All 3 Hunger Games digital eBooks for under $4!

OP here. For those of you having trouble with the codes today... Seems as if the order of the codes might have been changed by Kobo. I had posted this elsewhere, and some were saying it still worked for them:

Use coupon code HungerGamesDeal for Hunger Games.

For Catching Fire, use code HungerGamesDeal2.

For Mockingjay, use code HungerGamesDeal3

Hopefully that will work!

I ended up purchasing all three but only after many attempts and then only HungerGamesDeal - no number - worked for each book separately. Perhaps kobo limits the number of code sales per hour and when the max is reached, the code is deactivated? I purchased Book 1 at 4, Book 2 at 7, and just now at 11 I bought Book 3.

Yay, I was finally able to get it to work. Looks like the problem was with my laptop - I was able to order it on my iPad. But the code wasn't working with the second one, so I'll try again later. Thanks.

You were right. I just got the discount on Book 2 but the code wouldn't work for Book 3, so I'll try that one later.

Just wanted to thank the OP and everyone else for their suggestions. I played around with it last night, and was able to order on my ipad. Now that my info is there, I can just keep using PayPal. Got the first book for .83, but had the same problem others did on the subsequent books. I just ordered the 2nd book and will wait and try the 3rd later, thanks again!!!

I'm assuming you mean rooting the Nook Color? If so, you need a micro SD card and a gmail account to get it to let you download apps once it's rooted. I used this video.

I tried several written tutorials, but they all failed. This one worked perfectly. When I have the SD card in, it's an android tablet and when I take it out, it's a regular Nook color. You just have to make sure the Nook is completely off before inserting or removing the card.

Thanks for sharing! I really want to do this but was nervous I would ruin my Nook Color but I like that it goes onto the SD car so think I will try it!

I was worried too, but I figured the worst that could happen would be my ruining the SD card doing it this way. I am really enjoying the andriod apps--there are so many FREE ones!

I just bought the color nook and I was hoping to root it BUT you have to have a PC and I have a mac . Is there any chance if I sent you an SD card that you could put the appropriate software on it. Would that even work or do you have to connect the nook to the computer?

Just got all 3 books for less thabn $5...and taught DS a good budget tip since he was not very pleased when we went to the book store the other day and I would not spend $20 each for the hard cover books. Yeah Mom!!!

FYI--I used the code HungerGamesDeal for all 3 books and purchased #1 at 11pm last night, #2 at 8am & #3 at 8pm....i could not buy all 3 at the same time.

I don't understand why it would be that different, since you are saving the files to an SD card Maybe it is though. Lord knows, the MACs and IPADs at school seem to hate me.

But then my husband could use it once on his account and my mom once on her account, so we were able to get all 3, you just have to have 3 separate accounts associated with them. I even figured out how to get them downloaded onto my Kindle Touch with a couple quick downloads. Pretty good for a new Kindle user.

Thank you so much for posting this tip! At first, i was able to buy Catching Fire and Hunger Games but couldn't get Mockingjay. After I read your post, I was wondering how to transfer my giftcard balance to my other email address. I started playing around with the website and found that I could gift myself with an egift card with my store credit to another email account! I just bought the 3rd book! HungerGamesDeal is the only promo code out there.

Thanks OP. DD12 saw the movie on Sat. and read the first book on a friend's Nook Friday and Saturday. She's been bugging me to go to the bookstore but this is so much cheaper. Now I just have to figure out how to get it on my DM's Kindle.

I was just able to successfully download the first book to my iPad with the code "HungerGamesDeal" for 83 cents!! When I tried the second book with the above-mentioned code, the site told me it was invalid. So, I'll try again later.
