Has anyone done this with their daughters, I booked it today but am looking for some more details, how was it???

My DD5 just did this last Friday. It's for kids only. Parents do not attend. So I can only tell you what DD told me. I sent a disposable camera with her but haven't had a chance to get the photos developed yet.

DD LOVED it. She is still talking about it. The parents enter the restaurant with their children and get them settled into a seat. Then it's time for the parents to leave. There were cupcakes on the plates when DD sat down. Lunch is served, but they eat their cupcakes first "to make sure they have enough room for them." They played games with the Mad Hatter and Alice. The game DD was most excited about was hide and seek. I don't know what else happens, but it was fun enough that DD wanted to go back the next day. :)

Is it only for girls? Would boys like it too, or is it too girly?

It's not limited to girls, and I have read posts on disboards about boys attending. However, it was all girls last Friday. And many of the girls were dressed in Alice or princess dresses. I think the activities (what I know of them) are not too girly, but a boy might feel a little out of place simply because not a lot of boys attend.

My granddaughter attended last Thanksgiving and loved it....she was 6 at the time. It is only for the kids but I felt very comfortable with the security that they had in place. They had cupcakes and "tea" and played games...got their picture made with Alice and the Mad Hatter. She really enjoyed it. The parents were allowed to go it at the beginning and at the very end. There were a couple of boys when she was there.

My girls did this for years and loved it. You drop them off and you get a receipt and a beeper. You must have both in order to pick up your child after the hour. The kids play hide and seek. Make cupcakes and get their picture taken with Alice and the Mad Hatter. You get a cute bouquet of flowers. My kids loved this tea party and we loved the hour we got to share without kids.

My dd did it twice and her and my ds are doing it again this year! My dd wears her Alice costume and my ds is wearing Mad Hatter .. he is soooo excited! My avatar pic is from the tea party! Alice is my favorite ;)

My daughter did this in July and LOVED it! They even get a picture with Alice and the Mad Hatter, included in the price.

I wanted to do this for my daughter's fourth birthday in Jan ... but I don't know if she'll let me leave her with strangers. :confused3

From anyone's experience, were there clingy kids involved? I'm thinking if there's a cupcake and Alice, she won't give two hoots if I'm with her.

It is for boys and girls! DD loved it, it is still her favorite thing she has done as a special surprise.

IF your child is more out going seat them towards the end of the table. The hosts sit on the ends, DD sat one in from the end.

She wants to go back and do it again!
