My family really wants to try Alfredo's but I've read some mixed reviews. Will we be disappointed?

We like Alfredo's. It is actually my Dh favorite place to eat. It is nice because it is an easier ADR to get.

I liked Alfredo's but I don't know that I would go back there again since there are so many other places that I would like to try and it didn't leap out to me like Le Cellier or Rose & Crown. It was fun though and we enjoyed the atmosphere. It's authenic Italian, so you taste the cheese on the fettucine alfredo.

Its no better than any Italian Restaurant you would find at home so I would skip it for something else.

I just cancelled Alfredos due to poor reviews. I booked Spoodles instead.

That's funny. We don't like Spoodles at all and we love Alfredos. Alfredos makes the best Lasagna (YUMMY).

We like Alfredos better for lunch, it's too crowded at dinner.

Everyone's taste is different, you just have to try it for yourself.

Enjoy.

Skip it. Food not that great. Service not that great. Expensive. If you really want to go, go at lunch.

Hi GD,
We booked Alfredo's but based on the reviews I had hesitations as well. I looked over the menu and there are so many things on there that I would eat so we left them. My friends went there and loved it, they had nothing bad to say at all. You could teeter back and forth on all your choices but its up to you and honestly if your family really wants to go there, why dissappoint them. If you don't go you might regret it and if you do go and hate it you can cross it off your list for the next time around.
:thumbsup2 :wave2: :bounce:

If you are on the dining plan - try it - what have you got to lose?

We really like it and booked it again for September. My daughter loves the napking twirling and the musicians.

We also like Alfredo's. If you really like Fettucine Alfredo, you've got to try theirs. It's better than anywhere else I've had it!

'Fredo's is our favorite place on property. We had lunch there on Monday and it was everything we have come to expect. We shared Lasagne and the fetuccine. We were also there on Saturday afternoon where I had a midday snack of the calamari appetizer. :earsboy:

If you really want to try it then go, you'll have a fine time. I personally don't like the restaurant. I felt that the tables are too close together. I felt that the service was rushed and the wait staff alternated between ignoring you and rushing you out to turn the table over. I thought that the food was ok, not really special, but I have many Italian resturants around where I live.

When I feel like pasta or Italian food at WDW I go to Palio's at the Swan. It's relaxing, the service is excellent and the food is just as good or better.

As for Alfredo's having the best Fetticuinni Alfredo, I don't think so, but to each their own.

We had lunch at Alfredo's on the first of May and we loved it! It was a beautiful, sunny day outside, so we actually dined on the outdoor patio. It was one of the highlights of the trip for me, as I am Italian and would love to go to Italy, but don't fly, so Epcot's Italy is probably as close as I'm gonna get. It was just so pleasant to have lunch in the sun, be served by waiters with Italian accents, hear the music playing in the background and gaze out at the plaza! And, oh, yeah...the food was great, too! We had the fettucine...my DH had the regular size plate, but I asked for and got a lunch sized serving, and we shared a salad. The bread they serve is also terrific. I thought it was a wonderful experience and would do it again in a heartbeat.

We thought the food was fine at Alfredo's, nothing special though. But what was really memorable was the service. It was horrible!!! We waited almost an hour past our ADR for a table, and the waiter was completely rude. We asked for a refill on DD's drink, he told me it was not included. I told him that was fine, we would pay for it. He would not bring it. We asked twice. We even asked another waiter. Never got it. Service was very rushed, also. It was just not what you would expect from such an expensive restaurant.

This was just our experience though.

I think it's important to do what your family would like to do. As a previous poster said, if you don't like it, you don't have to go back. We thought the service was fine, and our wait was around 15-20 minutes from ADR time to seating.

Had dinner there last thursday with party of 10, overall very good. I got the fettucine alfredo, to me not that great. Had the lame it was outstanding.

We love it there :thumbsup2

We are going back for dinner in less then 2 weeks and we are so looking forward to it. :cool1:

Try it you just might really like it.

We love it there. We booked 2 ADR's for dinner there on our next trip. My DH loves the lasagna and will have it both times. It's made with bolognese and cream sauce layered with cheese. The waiters are so friendly and the atmosphere is fun. :thumbsup2
