Alex & ani to be discontinued?

A pandora worker told me they will be discontinued as the pandora line expands due to disney and pandora contract. I can't imagine this can happen...any word on this?

Pandora employees are known for saying things like this. There also known for being completely untrue. Personally it's a little sleazy and one of the reasons I don't care for them

My DD and I bought Alex and Ani bracelets last trip (Magic Kingdom me and Rapunzel for DD) and we wear them almost everyday! I would be so disappointed if this is true. I was hoping to buy a couple of more on my upcoming August trip. I purchased one (Animal Kingdom) for my SIL too and I know she likes it too.

They just added a bunch of new bangles for Christmas, and several were sold out when I was there in December. I can't image they would get rid of them so soon. I hope not, I only have five of the Disney ones so far!

Alex and Ani are much better than Pandora IMHO. I can totally see Pandora saying that to up their sales. I would be surprised if A&A let their contract expire, it's a much different demo

The DHS bangle does appear to be discontinued (of course, it was the next one I had budgeted to get.) And I expect the 2014 one is also discontinued now that the year is over and the 2015 bangle is out.

But as another poster already said, they added new bangles in Mid-December, two of which were specifically called out as being the start a new "Words Are Powerful" collection.

Pretty sure the only thing the Pandora deal caused to be discontinued were the Chamilia beads and bracelets. ^^;

I would be really upset if they did, although I can't imagine it happening. I love them so much! I have a Donald Duck one, the 2014 one, and the Belle one is currently on it's way home

I was told that the initial bangles and the birthstone bangles were to be discontinued. All of the Disneyland hotels no longer carry Alex and Ani. So maybe they are all going to be discontinued.

The Disney store has FREE shipping on them today and 10% off over $50 if you use your Disney Visa. I hope they are not discontinued though , I love them and planned on adding more to my collection in August. I also have a pandora and love that too.

....I guess these are going to be discontinued because they aren't exclusive to Disney. I happen to have my birthstone one AND my initial, and they look exactly the same as the Disney ones, but the Disney ones have that little round tag on them..

This actually makes a lot of sense. They'll probably bring a new one in with the Earful Tower or whichever symbol they choose to represent the park next.

I hope this isn't true! On our last trip oldest DD bought her first Alex & Ani bangle and wears it every day. I ordered her the Cinderella Castle one for her birthday this month. I was thinking that this could be a new birthday gift tradition.
