Ale & Compass, Paradiso 37 or somewhere else?

We have a week long trip with FD. Have Mama Melrose, La Hacienda, Liberty Tree Tavern and Tusker House ROL package booked. Right now I also have Ale and Compass 5pm and Paradiso 37 through Opentable on our HS morning. We are unsure what we will be doing that night which is why I booked outside of parks. I am concerned with reviews for both restaurants.

Anyone have any suggestions of 1 TS credit that they love? Cape May and Ohana are not available.

We found the food at Paradiso 37 to be inedible, like some of the worst food I have ever tried to eat horrible. I would listen to the reviews and steer clear. If you are wanting to go to Disney Springs any other choice would be a better option. I have not eaten in the Ale and Compass restaurant, but I did have a late lunch in their lounge on our last visit and while it wasn't mind blowing, it was definitely tasty. Also if you have your heart set on Cape May or Ohana, just keep trying. Something will most likely open up.

Have you thought about Boma? I have not personally been there, but everyone on here seems to love it and the resort is a destination in itself.

We were just at Paradiso 57 last week and I loved my meal. I had a chicken enchilada. The beans were too big of a portion for me. They were on the side of the plate so I just ignored them. My husband had the fish tacos and didn't love his meal like I did. He would have preferred a different fish. We have been there before but I forget what we have ordered in the past. I will try to post a picture of our meal later.

We in the minority here but we really enjoy the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk if we are not eating in the park and in that area. I had the smore's dessert last week, my new favorite dessert. We had a good meal at new Italian place on the Boardwalk too. We love Olivia's at OKW and you take the boat from DS. So many good restaurants to pick from and I know others will be suggested.

Have you checked out the menus at AKL?

We have Tusker House for the next night with ROL. We haven't been to Boma in years. It used to be a must do, but just so far from other parks to make it work this trip.

Paradiso 57, we both ate everything!! I thought it was delicious but maybe I was just starved? :)

HaHa. I knew that was going to happen when I said how bad we thought it was. Consistency doesn't seem to be the strong suit of Disney Springs restaurants. :D

I’d put a vote in for Boma. Ate there in December and it was Fantastic.

For 1 credit: At Disney Springs, we love Homecomin' and Frontera Cocina. For resort dining, we like The Wave, Grand Floridian Cafe and Boma. In the parks, we like Sci-Fi, Via Napoli, San Angel Inn and Yak & Yeti.

We did not like paradiso 57 - the food was hit and miss and the service was not much better (to be fair it was the servers first week so this may not be typical) but on the whole not somewhere I would recommend or go again. At Disney Springs we loved The house of blues and Raglan Road.

We haven't done Paradiso or Ale and Compass, but do plan to try the ladder at some point on our next trip since we'll be staying at Beach Club. As far as 1 credit goes Sanna is unquestionably the best table service on property. The food is amazing, the ambiance great, and their bread service is divine (though note on the dining plan its likely extra).

If you are thinking about Disney Springs I'd suggest Homecoming as the best option. Its good ole Southern food done to perfection. Raglan Road is also another favorite.

In the parks we love Via Napoli pizza, but we don't do the dining plan and I've read its not a good value in that regard.
