My family will be staying at the BC in a villa, and would like to know if anyone has suggestions as to where we can purchase alcohol to bring back to the room. We won't have a car, so we're pretty limited on this one. We're hoping someone out there can help us! :-) After full days with kids, we'd love to unwind with glass of wine on the balcony.

Any thoughts?

Just pop down to the Beach Club Gift Shop (I forget what the official name of it is)--they sell cold beer, wine, and even liquor. While the prices are a little higher than you might pay elsewhere, they are not prohibitive.

We used wegoshop.com to deliver snacks and water to BC last year. We had them shop at the Super Walmart so they could get beer and wine coolers for us also. It was much cheaper than buying these items at the resorts. I believe they can purchase wine there also.

I know you can get champagne from BC room service, so you can probably get wine sent up, too. If not, there is a shop at BC that sells wine and "spirits". Enjoy!

I don't see wine and beer at gardengrocer.com...can you point me to where it is on their web site?

You need to put it in the comments section when you place your order.

Epcot - in World Showcase. I'm pretty sure you can purchase Wine there.

Yes! and they will have LOTS of wine for sample and purchase during the food and wine festival.

Last Christmas I bought a bottle of Kendall Jackson chardonnay at the Yacht Club gift shop, and I was surprised at how reasonable it was. Also, as others have said, try buying wine in one of the countries of World Showcase. I bought some very reasonable white wine in Italy.

We've done the same - in fact, the wine stopper is a standard item on our packing list (we don't usually drink a whole bottle in a night). We've bought rum at the gift store as well. Prices are high, but less high than buying bar drinks.

However, the bar at the BC (can't remember the name) will sell it to you in a to go cup - we've done that when we've wanted something stronger and didn't want to buy a bottle.

I agree with the other post about flying it to Orlando. I took a carry on with us to DL with 4 liters of liquer. And when I went to Texas last week I brought my friend a case of beer that he likes that he can't find out there.

Gardengrocer.com was great! We used Brian in May and would highly recommend it again. Just try to be specific about brands you want for alcohol, beer or wine. We didn't have any problems. Annmarie

Question to the Original Post- Are you trying to save money? Because if you can't go to a store when you arrive you will pay alot more. But if cost doesn't matter then Gardengrocer will do it. We used them a BWV last October and its was nice, but not cheep.

For alcohol you need to call them directly. As far as price, we didn't find the prices much more than the grocery store near downtown disney. May be a little more than at home, but a LOT cheaper than the WDw stores. Good luck.
