Albatross Cruise

I have just booked my 2 little pirates for the Albatross Cruise. Can someone tell me about their experiences? My DH is all in a twist because they go alone!

DS6 and DS4 just went on the Albatross Cruise 2 weeks ago. There were only nine kids and two CM's on the boat. They both had fun, but DS 6 said the pirate cruise out of the Grand Floridian was more interesting. They found pieces of the treasure map at the various resorts around the Beach Club and in the countries of Epcot. They eventually found the treasure at the Beach Club. They had a picnic lunch and were all singing when they came back. They ended up with a bag full of treasure and DS6 took along a disposable camera and got some neat pictures.

From a worry standpoint they are well supervised and you are given a pager when you check in. They all wear life jackets, name tags and pirate bandanas so they are easy to identify and keep with the group.

My son went on this, just after they started it. He loved it!

Everyone wears a vest. There are two adults with a max of 10 kids (I think). Adn everyone has a buddy. Go and enjoy brunch with your DH while theyre gone.

These boards are a wealth of information. I love it!! Can someone tell me how to go about booking one of these cruises and how much it costs? Thanks soooo much,

I called 1-407-WDW-DINE and booked it. The cost is $28.17 per kid. It leaves from the Beach Club dock at 9:30 but we are supposed to get there at 9-9:15. It lasts 2 hours and they have PBJ lunch at the end. We are so excited! Actually we will be using the 2 hours to get DD's hair braided, but brunch sounds great.
