I'm not DVC, but I live in Wilton. I came across this thread searching for info. on the new Saratoga Springs resort.
Can I play too? Some of my best friends are DVC members.

In October 1997, the Albany-area readers of rec.arts.disney.parks met up in Crossgates. We had a huge party for lunch at Bugaboo Creek, and that actually seemed a little problematic. If the group could meet near the Disney store, for example, it would probably be much easier.

I see several of you are right up in my area. Anybody else have young children? My dd just went off to first grade today, and my ds starts preschool tomorrow. They are 5.5 and 3.

September 7 at Ruby Tuesdays works for us - what time? I think Ruby Tuesdays would be fine for just the few of us getting together to plan a meeting - although I agree with Dandeloin - a restaurant without a meeting room to utilize might be difficult for the actual meet. We seem to have a lot of interest. Perhaps we could find someone to reserve for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres? Comments????

I agree with SimplyMagical. If there are quite a few of us, maybe Ruby Tuesday's isn't the right place.

I think it is time for a definite head count for Saturday 9/7.

How many of us are planning to go on Saturday and how many of us are bringing guests/husbands/wifes/significant others?


And what time is best for you.

It will just be me. I am leaving the 2 kids at home with my husband. As I said before, anytime after 4:30 is good for me.

Yes we need a head count. Ruby's on Fridays is a a squeeze.

Would have loved to drive out for this one - will have to wait for the next one!

Would it be easier to meet at the mall food court? Plenty of seating and you could pull tables together to make a better conversation area. Depending on the time, I might show up with my kids along. Look out!

Why don't we meet this Saturday, September 7 at Wilton Mall at 5:00 p.m. We can meet outside Ruby Tuesdays. If we have too many to be able to utilize Ruby Tuesdays -- we can move to the food court. Lets finalize by Friday evening who will be attending. Does this work for everyone??
