In Juneau, how possible would be it be to do the Sled Dog Discovery/Musher's Camp (2.5 - 3 hrs) AND the Mendenhall Glacier and Whale Quest (5 - 5.5 hours)? My goal is to see the sled dogs, see the whales, and see the glacier. If not that way... suggestions??? It's me, DH, and DSs (8&9). I guess it's worth noting that we're in port for about 12 hours that day. Thanks for your input!

Theoretically, you should be able to do it, but it depends on what times those excursions are offered. When trying to book two excursions in one day for our upcoming Alaskan cruise, I discovered the timing wouldn't work. Due to the offered excursion times, there was no way to book them so that they wouldn't overlap. Good luck!

We are going on a whale watch in Vancouver, so you might want consider that option.
Keep in mind.... Juneau will offer the large and majestic humpback whales.... Vancouver's are typically the smaller and faster Orcas.

We did White Pass railway in the morning and dog sledding in the afternoon in Skagway (longer time in port), and then did Mendenhall glacier in the AM (on our own) and whale watching in the afternoon in Juneau. We had plenty of time for each doing it this way, and never felt rushed.

Yup, DH and DD want to see orcas. We don't ever see those in New England which is why we are doing a whale watch on this trip. Here's hoping we see some orcas.
