Wow, that's asking a lot. It's probably a bit easier if you ask specific questions that can be answered.

The cruise itself is pretty much the same as any other DCL cruise, it's the ports that are different.

There are a few Alaska-dedicated threads with an overwhelming amount of information. I know--I'm going on my Alaska DCL trip June 3rd! You're better off doing a board search for these threads and then asking specific questions if you do not find what you want to know.

According to my local newscast tonight, it is 40 below in Alaska! Glad I was there last summer.

Whale watching--amazing. Scenery--amazing. Bears, salmon, etc--way cool.

Yes.....unbelievable scenery and wildlife, and depending on the route, it is on both sides of the ship for much of the cruise.

The Caribbean is pretty, Hawaii is pretty, and Alaskan cruise is breath taking.
