Does anyone know if you can pick your seats on either of these airlines? Is there a cost?

Any other things that may make me choose one over the other?

I know that Alaska has lower baggage fees than Delta.

Can't figure out why there is such a price difference when they have the same flight.

I fly Alaska airlines frequently and you can choose your seats with no extra charge. They also do priority boarding for families with young children and people that need extra time to board. Everything else you have to pay for (e.g. luggage, food, in-flight video player, alcohol etc...) Alaska airlines also has a great mileage program.

Thanks

Delta is still cheaper even with a bag each. They charge an extra $10 more than Alaska

No charge to pick your seats on Delta. We just booked and picked the other day!

Great!

I just booked with a TA-mine is on holidays. She said she wasn't able to select seats as they aren't up that far in advance.

Now I will have to try to remember to do that in the next month or so.
