Is there a preferred side of the ship, starboard or port for views?

It didn't seem to make a difference; we got different views on the northbound leg vs the southbound. 6, 1/2 dozen the other IMO

Doesn't really matter.

We've done 2 Alaska cruises and both times it was port side. So "ocean" views going up and land views going back. It's all great.
