Anybody hear the rumor the Wonder will be heading for Hawaii after dropping us off in Vancouver ? It goes something like this - Vancouver to and around Hawaii, 2nd cruise from and around Hawaii to LA via Mexican Riviera. Then back the the regular Mex Riv schedule.

updated rumor, 7 day Vancouver/Hawaii and then 7 day Hawaii/Vancouver. A newspaper in Hawaii reported DCL has reserved a pier on 2 separate dates however that DCL would not confirm a plan to sail.

well the dockage is booked for May and September of 2012
some in Honolulu were suggesting the Wonder may be arriving with the opening of the new vacation club resort but alas the port booking is 2012

Looks like we are joining you all . My mom and I just got off the Wonder this morning (I'm already missing the towel animals!! ; ) ) and booked this cruise.

We are totally excited, it'll be the first time for both of us in Alaska and our 7th DCL cruise.

I still haven't convinced the hubby how exciting this will be, but luckily he is willing to do this for me!
I will make him happy since we are going to take the train (Amtrak) from CHicago to Seattle. We did that train as part of our honeymoon and it was our favorite of all 6 or 7 different Amtrak trains we took on that trip. I am hoping to work out some kind of return trip via canadian rail, but am not sure how to get back to northern Indiana that way... Oh well, we have LOTS of time to work on it!

Happy Monday everyone

We are getting ready to cruise in another 2 1/2 weeks on a western cruise. It will be our 1st time on a cruise longer than 4 days, so we are looking forward to it.

We are getting very excited about this cruise too. Hard to believe that it is only 11 months away now

Hi everyone!

Sorry - we won't be cruising with you on this cruise, but we are switching our cruise dates from this cruise to the week before - Aug 23rd to Alaska. This week works out better for us especially since the kids will only miss 1 or 2 days of school instead of a week or more.

Thanks Vicki. I have transferred to the west bound Transatlantic, it was less than half the price of this one & 14 nights rather than 7!!!! I would still like to do Alaska at some point in the future though!

I don't blame you for wanting to go on a WB transatlantic, when it is half the cost and longer days on the ship. I am sure that there will be plenty of opportunities to go on an Alaska cruise on the Wonder in the future. Enjoy your cruise! It sounds like it will be fun!

Did you enjoy your western cruise ? Was it a Disney or another Line ? Two people at work did different Alaska trips this summer and both loved it, a very positive indicator we are going to have a great time.

Yes, we did a 7 night Western Disney Cruise and we loved it! It was our 1st 7 nighter, all the rest have been 3-4 nights. we really enjoyed Cozumel. We are really looking foirward to Alaska too. I have heard positive things too from people who have been there from other cruise lines.

I hope others are still excited about this cruise!!! I know that several of us have had to change the cruise dates or plans, but the excursions will come out after the first of the year, and then we can really start the planning!
