Alaska Airlines Changed My Flight :-(

I got a call from Alaska Airlines a couple hours ago. They informed me that a flight I booked was no longer available. :-( I now how about a 13 hour layover in Seattle. They are putting me up over night in a hotel and stuff, but now I get into Orlando about 10 hours later than I'm supposed to.

I have dinner reservations at Boma, at the same time my new flight now gets in. And Im missing out of most of a day of my vacation. I was really looking forward to getting in early that morning and spending the day cruising around at AKL and relaxing.

Anyone know how long it usually takes for the Magic Express to get from the Airport to AKL so I can readjust my dinner reservation? Also, has this happened to anyone else? What did you do?

Magical Express averages 80 minutes from leaving the airplane to arriving at your resort, if you don't stop for a snack along the way.

But allow plenty more time to get to the reservation. One in four planes lands more than 15 minutes late.

I am not sure if this is possible, but this should qualify you to change or cancel flights. I would check the schedule and see if there was anything better. Alaska is connected to Delta, so you could see about them putting you on a Delta flight.

One thought would be to try to contact the Guest Services Manager at Boma. This person has the power to work wonders with your reservation, however, Disney may make it difficult to get through to him/her. Give it a try!
