Alaska 2016

We have booked our first Alaska Cruise for May 23/2016, that being said I research the average temps for May and seem to be mid 50's. Does being on the first cruise of the new season been different to any other sailings, any special events to kick off the season or just another cruise up to Alaska ??

It will be the same as all of the other Alaskan sailings. They don't usually do anything special on the first cruise of the season for an itinerary they have sailed before.
