Our house was broken into for the second time in two years this week.
Last time, they snagged all the stuff they could hock. This time, it was all the essential paperwork that was locked up and hidden in the strongbox (they just lifted and toted it away, and I hope the person gets a hernia as a result). Won't even go into how much of a budget buster this is, not to mention a stresser we really don't need.
Anyway...
The new security system will be installed this week. It comes with some bells and whistles, but does NOT include security cameras.
My question is -- does your system have the camera set up and is it worth the extra $150 for two cameras?
I guess I'm concerned with how clear the video would be from them. You see the security camera footage on the news and it looks like it was filmed underwater in black and white, so I'm wondering if it's worth the cost if we won't be able to even clearly see the person / people committing the crime.
Thanks...
