Anybody know why or what this was done for?

Very funny, but also kind fof odd unless it was for SNL or something. otherwise this is the kind of thing only Weird Al usually does.

I don't know why she did it. I figured she didn't like the song and was making fun.

Alanis Morisette is kind of serious and intense. Her music is kind of angry and powerful.

Fergie is light and trashy. Very overtly sexual. Alanis took a silly song about womens body parts and sang it very slowly and seriously. Hope this helps

I used to be a MAJOR Alanis fan, saw her in concert 4 times. Then her music became too repetitively cathartic; same old song, different angst. But my God, that girl can sing! She even makes this song sound, well, beautiful (especially if you don't pay attention to the words)!
