Can anyone give me information about which of these rental car companies is easier to deal with? I am getting quotes for almost the same amount (only a $7 difference) for 12 days in June. Is one better than the other? Is the car selection better, or are the cars cleaner, in better shape, etc.? I do have Emerald Club, so picking my own car is an advantage with National. I just would like to hear pros and cons of each. Thanks.

If you are an Emerald Club member then, IMHO, the answer is very easy. Go with National!
Some people who have a $20 difference in favor of Alamo still stick with National for the convenience of Emerald Aisle or Emerald Choice!!
Alamo is the sister company of National and they share everything but you cannot bypass the counter! Big difference, IMHO.
