I currently have a reservation for a (small car) through Advantage at MCO for 9/15-9/25 which totals $146. Now I tried the costco code and another coupon for Alamo for the same dates and pick up/drop off at MCO, and the price is $151 for a compact vehicle. I don't rent cars very often. And I havent been to Florida in 10 years, and even then I never rented a car. Which reservation would you pick for what company and why? I'm confused on if I should keep the reserve with advantage or switch to Alamo.

Alamo without a doubt! You can pick your own vehicle, which is really nice, plus I've never read great things about Advantage (long lines, poor service, dirty cars) so I wouldn't even consider them, but for this price difference, there's no question for me.

I LOVE Alamo at MCO. We've done Enterprise as well which was good, but Alamo's kiosk and "walk up and pick a car" is fun.

One thing I would suggest when booking with them is signing up for the insiders program because it always seems to add in a little extra discount.

I'm traveling basically the same dates as you and when logged in with my insider account, using the Costco Contract ID#: 7014627 (Costco) and Coupon Code: AD2359FDF I got a standard car for $118!

Hope that helps!

Which will magically turn into a full size cause we don't have a standard row at MCO.

thanks for your inputs. i definately want to go with Alamo now. I put in your codes, mommytoryan. It is giving me a standard for $175 total. (well it says $165.52 rental period, then when you click on it, it then says $175 on the bottom) was your total $118 or is that without tax? how many days did you reserve it for?

I see what I did. It came to 175, after the 2 codes, and the insider membership discount. But when i took the Membership number off, it then went to 166 ..kinda weird lol..I'm hoping to get a cheaper rental but its not bad for 10 days worth.
