Alamo Save Time

Ok, So I've just completed Alamo Save Time on line. I now have a piece of paper with my details and a bar code. However it states on the paper that I still have to go to a counter to collect and sign my rental agreement ???? I thought the point was to skip this ? It also says I can use an Alamo self service kiosk ?

Anyone shed any light on this ?

Exactly the same as I had last month. Just ignore what it says and go direct to the garage, I had no problem at all.

I also did OLCI as I wasn't sure which I needed but been told its the one with barcode so if that's the one you have then you will be OK but might be worth doing OLCI also if you can to be certain.
Yes, they scan that barcode, ask for DL & Credit card, than ask if you want to pre pay fuel or return full. Then print out agreement and on your way.

Relatives did exactly the same as me this month.

The OLCI link says you skip the counter but when you print out the doc it still says goto the desk. They really want you to goto the desk for the upsell but its not required.

No I didn't goto the SS kiosk, just straight out to the garage, chose a car and drove to the exit, all dealt with there.

I did savetime mistakingly thinking i could go straight to the garage. When i got there everyone said i had to go to desk. When i got there there wasa huge queue. Grabbed the manager an had a bit of a whinge and he put a signature on it and sent me back to garage and all was fine so assume could have let me through first time!

I'll try it next time, but I was never allowed to do OLCI
it always told me I could not proceed, so I only ever got as far as savetime

it says booking cannot be prepaid or charged to a 3rd party (voucher for example)
and that Debit cards do not qualify.

so that may be why I'm out of the process.

My husband says when you OLCI after it tells you
You have checked in. Look on the page for information skip the counter click and carry in.
It then asks for your CC.
