Alamo reservation using SWA site

I just booked a Ding for Presidents week and realized that I will probably have to pay through the nose for a car.
I usually use National and of course they were over $500.
On a lark, I tried the SWA site and came up with an unbelievable $252 for Alamo. The next closest agency was double. I checked Alamo's site with a bunch of coupons and discount codes and I couldnt come close.
I am affraid that if I keep this ressie that they will not honor it.
Anyone have any similar circumstances?

I'm booking a trip for late June and I also found Alamo to be significantly less expensive. I'm a bit new to this... I've only made one trip to WDW as an adult (been hooked ever since) and, for that trip, we split a mini van with the family we went with and I did not make the res. Anyway, for my trip in June, I called Alamo directly and asked for a AAA discount. I also have an Entertainment Book coupon for "one free day". I did't have the coupon with me when I called but the price they gave me for a Chevy Trailblazer for 7 days with the AAA rate was about $202. If I call back with the coupon number they will grant me the additional discount which will be about another $20 off. I also found National to have a very good rate for that week in June ($217 with a coupon). Avis, Hertz, Enterprise and Budget were all in the $450 - $500 range.

That said, do you (or anyone who might read this) know of any reason to stay away from Alamo (or National)? I am delighted yet leary about significanly lower prices as compared to the other rental companies. The Fodors book said Alamo does not have a rental desk or kiosk at MCO and you need to take a shuttle to get your rental. But Alamo said that is not true.

That was true at one time, but, since Alamo and National became sister companies some years ago, they both share the same spaces at the MCO garage. Their desk and kiosks are in the MCO baggage claim area.

Maybe you were looking at an outdated Fodors?

Thank you very much for that clarification. Actually the Fodors I have is the "2008" "Disney With Kids" version. Maybe when it was actually written Alamo had not yet joined with National.
Since National and Alamo share the same space at MCO does anyone know if their lines tend to be longer at the rental/pick-up desk? Not that this would be a show stopper since both the prices both gave me were $200 - $300 less than all teh other rental companies.

The two desks are side-by-side, but they do not share lines. I didn't even know they were affliated with one another until after our last trip.
