Alamo Rates Down Again Today

Just as an FYI - they are lower than they were the last two days. For an 11 dat rental, about $400 less. Similar to the earlier part of the week.

I don't know how you are all are getting such great rates. I am trying for a car for Oct 29-Nov 8 (11 days) and they are all in the high $300's to $400's from Alamo. Any suggestions?

Not for us folks who are leaving within the next few weeks. OP, you must be a November person. For all of those who say the rate drops right before you leave, don't always believe that. I leave in 8 days and the price is over double of what it was 2 weeks ago. I'm sure it's because of the Columbus day weekend.

Yes, this is a November rental. Check the November Car Rental thread for some codes that you can try to finagle. I used the BJ's code and coupon and it took about $75 off my rate.

My December rental has dropped drastically over the last couple of weeks. I was at about $300 and now down to $116 for my 10 day rental with Alamo

It made me double check my rate...

My early December rental with Alamo for a SUV for 10 days went down $100 since last week. It's now $268 taxes in.

Hmm.. I just checked for the last week of April and its over $3,000 for the week.

Well hopefully late Oct. starts to see rates drop. They are stuck in the $300+.
