Just a heads up for those traveling soon. We just saved $30+ dollars on our reservation for early November, using the Visa discount and the $30 coupon over our earlier booked reservation.

Just to add, SWA sent me an email with my itinerary along with other travel deals. Using code SWAPRET can save up to 40%. I used this with my ET coupon and snagged a full-size for 7 days in November for $166 total!!!! Seems like a good deal to me.

My dates are Nov 25th to Dec 2nd. I'm using a Costco rate and coupon, when I put in pickup at 6pm and drop off at 6pm the rate for a full size was 268.00 but then I changed the return time to 5pm it dropped the rate to 148.00 everything else was the same I triple checked. Just that one hour made the difference. Not sure why. So I had always been told the best rate is for the same drop off and pickup time but try making an hour or two earlier for the return and maybe it will drop your rate.

I just changed my Alamo reservation through Costco using the $30 off coupon and I went from $178 for a compact to $124! This is for 11/12-11-20! It's so cheap that I made another reservation for a midsize and it's only $137! I will probably cancel the compact reservation, it's only 2 of us, but I feel safer in a car that's a little bigger!

You go through the Costco website. On the top you go to the travel tab then to rental cars, then Alamo, you click through and it populates the coupon fields for you.

My Alamo rate dropped again! I checked rates this morning and saved another $20 off my existing Alamo resv. using Costco coupons/codes! Now paying $130 including taxes/fees for Nov 2-8 standard car.

I checked this morning and could get a full size for same price as standard, so I modified my reservation. I just checked again, and saved another $ 18 on top of the $ 43 from last week.
