I have a ressie with Alamo (May 2-12, intermediate $267 total including taxes and fees). I now have a Quicksilver membership. Can it be applied to an existing reservation that used other codes to obtain the low rate? Does it pay to use the Quicksilver membership at MCO?

You need to call Alamo and see if they will link the reservation with you QS membership. there is no kiosk at MCO, but, there is a special "window".

Depends on the time of day.
When I arrived at midnight one time, there was a MASSIVE Alamo line and only one counter person. For Quicksilver, there was a sign to stand at a certain spot. A QS person came and stood there and was ignored by the counter person, who continued to wait on the people in the regular line. Finally the QS person got irritated and just went over and interrupted. The counter person said she would be taken care of next. She was, but I'm surprised she didn't spontaneously combust from the death stares of the other people in the regular line.

Quick question-how long did it take you to get your Quicksilver membership after you applied?

they give you a number immediately.

I guess I should call them-I don't appear to have one yet and it's been over a week.

If you signed up on line, you should have had a number. did you join QS or the Alamo.com membership.

I didn't see one anywhere but when I signed on to print a ressie confirm there was one on the confirm. Wonder how that worked?

LOL, technology. ;)

When you signed up you probably had to supply a user ID and password, along with a ton of other info, right? Well, they store that so every time you log on with your id and password, it is there.
