Is it worth to pay a few dollars more to get a premium over a full size for Alamo (MCO)? I'm not sure what the difference is - checked the website and they seem almost identical in terms of space, features, etc.

We need one more piece of information in order to answer your question, how much of a price difference?

Assuming you mean $11 per day difference, I'd say stick with the full size. Actually, as I think more about it, I'd go with the full size even if the price was closer unless status is important. :car:

It's $11.00 difference total for the 12 day trip. Sorry - I should have stated that earlier.

Status isn't important - was just surprised to see the premium price only 11.00 more total for the entire trip than full size so I was curious if its worth taking over a full size.

In doing some research on trunk space, alamos full size car the Impala, has a larger trunk space than their premium cars.

Not in my experience. The Ford Taurus had a huge trunk, far bigger than the Impala.

Impala - 18.6 cf
Taurus - 20.1 cf

It is larger, however, I am not sure it is "far bigger". It is, however, an awesome car.

I would definitely take the premium for the $11 difference. I've had both, and I always prefer the premium selection.

It could perhaps be the dimensions more so than cf. The Taurus trunk is taller which allows you to lay large pieces of luggage on their side or stack two pieces. This allows you to get three or four large pieces with smaller pieces of luggage in the Taurus trunk. The dimensions of the Impala trunk leave for a lot of empty space between the top of the trunk and the luggage. We have only been able to squeeze in two large pieces of luggage along with the smaller ones. If you have a lot of luggage, in our experience, the Taurus trunk holds a lot more than the Impala or Malibu.
