Has anyone rented a Mini Van from Alamo recently? I want to know what is available and what is the condition. Are their vans in GREAT condition or just OK condition? I called Alamo and was told they have Dodge Caravan, Toyota Sienna, and Chrysler Town and Country. This is my first mini-van rental and I am looking for experienced mini van renters to tell me what to expect. I have 7 people total to fit. 2 people are over 6 foot tall. There are 5 adults and 2 kids (ages 5 and 8) But we will need to fill all the seats with 3 large pieces of luggage and 3 small carryons. Experienced mini-van renters, help me out please.
1. Can I fit all 7 people plus luggage?
2. Are any of the mini vans more roomier (Looking at pics I like the Toyota)
3. If you rented recently, did you have a newer one? (2011?)
Our rental last year was a Chevy Impala. It was an 2008 model and it wasn't in the best shape. The key fob stopped working too and we took it back to the airport and traded it for a Chevy Malibu which was less roomy but was BRAND NEW!!! I'm talking like 200 miles on the vehicle. I want comfort and a nice ride with the mini van. But I don't want an OLDER one. Yes, I already know I am being picky!!
Thanks in Advance !!!
